I found this place to be a nice, pleasant place. Sourdough pizza was amazing. Unfortunately, couldn't say the same for my dessert cheesecake. However, this place has a better selection of beers and cocktails. Than some of the other pizza places. Nice furnishing surroundings and pleasant staff.
visited here recently for a meal, it was brilliant friendly customer service, perfectly cooked food with big portions sizes. lovely atmosphere with a great ambiance. unfortunately haven’t seen the rooms but from photo and what i have heard they are just as good as the rest of the place.
Incredibly pizza! Better than any chain restaurant, fresh dough and the perfect amount of cheese! The kids pizza was almost as big as the normal size, happy children! Fab service by Yue, we’ll definitely come back!
Justina our waitress was outstanding, super lovely and had a wonderful smile on her face while serving. She made our first time here wonderful and obviously the food was completely out of this world! We will be back for sure? Thank you
Breakfast was very amazing and delicious. Staff was very lovely and our waiter was Glerys. He did an amazing job at serving us and it was very quick. Would recommend to friends and family.
Perfect place for cocktails and pizza! 100% recommend the 'everyone's favourite pizza. Amazing service, it was my birthday and got a birthday card from them! Cute and cosy place to go with friends.
Fantastic atmosphere, fantastic deals, fantastic food will definitely come back here again it always is a wonderful experience and Glerys was absolutely phenomenal as a Host. To anyone curious? Cukoo Dough is a MUST COME experience!!! :)
Being completely honest. The pizza, incredible. The service, very poor, had to keep asking for things as simple as a plate, and reminders about drinks ordered constantly. The staff seemed a bit clueless, perhaps they were new, but if they improve the service and professionalism of staff, then it’ll be 5 star.
Gorgeous sourdough pizzas that are on the large size. I often end up taking away a few slices home which still taste amazing the next day! We recently took our son for a pizza on his 5th birthday. With very little notice the staff had balloons and a card at the ready when we arrived. He was thrilled! Service overall was great. Ambience is classy yet relaxed.

Ordered the all day breakfast and it was by far the best breakfast I’ve had in Colchester! Quality ingredients and great portion sizes!

Came here for the first time for the bottomless pizza brunch.
Had really good service, which can’t have been easy to serve a group of 11 people, but drinks were always topped up, even with individual cocktails and the pizza was unreal. Pizza sizes were big and filling, and ingredients used didn’t make it greasy. Highly recommend the bottomless and thank you to the staff who served us 😊

Went for a 30th Birthday lunch recently as a party of 8 adults and two granddaughters aged 2 and 1/2 and 4 and 1/2. Staff were very friendly and attentive but not overly so. We all had a mixture of starters and mains including pizzas and a lamb based Mac and Cheese which my son said was delicious. The pizzas were very tasty and so large that most of us had boxes to take home, including the grandchildren. Prices were very reasonable and we all had a great time. Will definitely be going back.
