Visiting Mission Cafe was a great experience. The place feels cozy and calm, and the smell of their high-quality coffee hits you as soon as you walk in. Their coffee and hot chocolates are fantastic, full of flavour.
They also serve fresh pastries such as cinnamon rolls and almond croissants which are really good. The best part is that the prices are reasonable for the quality you get.
If you’re on campus. I highly recommend giving Mission Cafe a try. You won’t be disappointed. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful place to relax, great coffee, or tasty pastries, this cafe has it all!
The most delightful taste of coffee you could ever experience in Colchester. Every time I return this cafe to order my favourite coffee and savour its distinct flavour.
Not to mention, the place is incredibly cozy, and the staff are extremely kind :)
Just tried Chicken Shawrma Wrap from first bite I was blown away by the explosion of flavors. The chicken was so tender, juicy and infused with delightful blend of spices. I highly recommend trying their food.

Mission’s coffee has to be the best coffee I have tried throughout Colchester and if not, most definitely Essex! I have tried some of the best that London, Bristol and Edinburgh have to offer and Mission certainly comes close if not exceeds almost all of them. Mission’s aim (as being told by the owners) is to bring such quality tasting coffee that is sustainably farmed with fair profits for the local farmers of the coffee, while simultaneously keeping in store prices very similar to those around the rest of Colchester and chains like Costa.
I recommend Mission to everyone that is all things coffee. Especially those who love a PERFECT Flat White!
The mission cafe use high quality, ethically sourced ingredients in all of their food and drinks. The food is always fresh, homemade and delicious. Hand downs its best coffee in Colchester, and always served by warm and welcoming staff.
A great little cafe serving fresh flavoursome food backed up by friendly service. Good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Chicken Shwarma is amazing & no wonder their best seller. Pizzas & Pide also excellent and vegetarians & vegans are well catered for.
The food at Mission Cafe is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can choose among many menu options. I love the service at the place and the staff are so friendly with the guests and always take care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place.

We are so lucky to have mission cafe part of the Innovation Centre. I enjoy my morning chats with Omar and he always has a smile 😃
