The New Greggs Cafe on the edge of Culver Square Colchester, feels bright and airy. The tables and floor were very clean not a crumb in sight. The staff were friendly and welcoming. If I could give more stars I would. It’s definitely worth a visit !

Just had the BEST just eat delivery from this Greggs branch… piping hot, tasty food, order accuracy was outstanding. Food’s always great whether it’s a quick sandwich on your lunch break or a coffee and bacon roll in the morning! Also can we talk about their sausage rolls.. 🤤 Staff are really warm and friendly as well.

It's a big Gregg's and straddles the high street and another road in Colchester. There are all of the things that you would expect at really reasonable prices. I think we fed ourselves and our 3 kids for under £15. The size of this Gregg's means there is loads of seating and we managed to find seats for 8 of us on a Saturday lunchtime. As it is so long there is a counter at each end so if what you want is missing at one end try the other.

Most of the staff are friendly, but so busy that they don't always have time to smile, as thinking of the next thing they have to do. But the food is good. Furniture could do with replacing. Cleanliness getting better.

Excellent place to stop for a quick Baker style bite to eat, hot and cold.. Teas, coffees and all manner of cold drinks.. Great pies and pastries.. They also are wheelchair friendly.. Meaning straight off street into restaurant from the front.. Small step at the back plus steps up.. But only if you cone in from the back way.. Culvert Street... Off the High Street it's easy wheelchair access.. There is also a disabled toilet plus normal toilets.. The disabled one is normally kept quite nicely.. The staff are nearly always nice, it does get quite busy in there.. Nice place and good prices..
