Ordered from here tonight. Very clean inside. The food was lush!! It was freshly cooked while we waited and the staff are very friendly there. It was still hot even after my 15 minute drive home. Food was exceptionally good! We have eaten from most of the other indian takeaways in Colchester and this one is by far the best, No dry or bland food here!!

First time i have used spice of india, 3 people for home delivery. We ordered different items , one person vegetarian. It was a really good meal certainly reccomend .delivery was on time , driver polite., food delivered hot.
On the whole it was a pleasant meal. The Lamb Tikka Methi could've been a touch stronger but was still good. The nan was very nice. The delivery was a little late but the staff and delivery tracking options were courteous and helpful.
A lovely Indian takeaway. The specialties are really good, but they also do well on all curry dishes. Naans are soft and nice. Rice is good in all forms.

Okay, so full disclosure, I'm mostly vegan. So I may be a bit bias because this take out caters to my dietary requirements. But honestly I used to be a carnivore and a curry lover beforehand.

Ordered via Deliveroo and it was the first time buying from Spice of India yesterday. Absolutely loved it and value for money. Vindaloo, pilau rice and keema nan. Best. Food. Ever. I will be back :)
Just had one of the best curries in years. Spice of India is top of my list now. Awesome Chicken Chat & Jalfrezi, lots of flavour and zero grease. This is not helping my diet! 😎
First time using them after our usual Indian takeaway closed. The food was incredible and the huge selection of vegan options is fantastic to see.

A place of glorious tastes! Love the butter chicken, but it's so delicious that I mustn't go very often - I'm sure there must be a lot of sugar in that dish. My husband loves the hotter curries here too.
Great customer service, not 100% happy with the food that was delivered. Manager offered another pick from the menu as an apology. Absolutely brilliant for a company to put their customers first, will definitely be ordering again.
