Staff, couldn't ask for more. Very polite and respectful. Service was great, lovely atmosphere, great choice of drinks and the food was lovely. Could not fault.
I came into the Yew tree for breakfast this morning and ordered the Berry Brioche. It was delicious and I would definitely recommend it for a lighter breakfast option. Service was quick too. Next time I visit I will definitely be eating in the lovely garden.
My family and I went here for my brothers birthday in September, the staff made us more than welcome, they saw it was my brothers birthday so they went above and beyond, the dessert he ordered they made it extra special wrote happy birthday in chocolate, sang happy birthday to him. The pub is clean,
We had à fair full English breakfast. The place is very charming. Service is good but a bit slow
Sat in the beautiful garden today which is dog friendly. I loved the non alcoholic elderflower cocktail refreshing on a hot day. Staff really nice. Food was lovely only downfall they ran out of gluten free bread but they gave me fresh vegetables instead and it worked really well.
We had a lovely time here with our family, staff provided colouring books to keep the kids entertained, service was good, just abit slow to clear up after we ate but they might have been short staffed. Food was lovely, my wife’s beef roast was out of this world. The meat just fell off the bone, I ha
We booked ahead and the communication was excellent. We were a large party of 15 and we pre ordered and again the order was checked upon arrival. All the staff were great and nothing was too much trouble, its nice to have staff that are not only attentive buy also can have a laugh. The food was great
Great pub, seeped in history , originally 2 farm labourers cottages dating back to 1640. Changed to a coaching Inn in the 1800s with the later addition of a wonderful dining area. The interior is a knockout with ancient beams everywhere. Decent selection of beers and the service was attentive and p
Fantastic staff, lovely dinner, disabled access and super friendly. Being my local and one of my first outings after 7 months in hospital i couldnt of asked for more. Thank you.
Food was excellent. Waiters were very friendly but sequencing wasn’t quite right. Breads and oil came out with the starters, rather than before and coffee came out just before the deserts. All waiters were attentive and friendly, served by Josh.
Only popped in briefly but lots of people having meals on a Wednesday afternoon which is a good sign. Clean and tidy, looks like a return trip will be in order.
Stopped here for late lunch. We shared a sqid starter. Delicious and tender. And a very tasty chicken and ham hock pie for main. Very generous portion. Loved the pastry too. Tina was very welcoming and very attentive.
