This is my favourite place in Colchester. Such a great place to sit & relax with good wine.
Such a great choice of wine, and also coffi, drafts and spirits; and some good food boards (cheese being our prefered choice).
The staff are friendly & knowledgeable, and always happy to chat.

We hired the bar for our daughters birthday, the Buffett food was excellent the staff were lovely and helpful, the venue was perfect and everyone had a lovely evening. Thank you to Stock and Bailey Wine Bar. We would(will) highly recommend you xx 🍾🍾🍾❤️

I went for the tapas launch evening. Wonderful food and wine, and the staff, though run off their feet, were attentive and charming. I’m going again very soon!
Went for tapas and wine for a group of friends this weekend and it's was amazing! Food ( especially the paella and prawns) were amazing. Atmosphere and staff also very friendly. Favourite bar in town by miles!
Loui is a fantastic barman/ manager . He goes that extra mile to make sure everyone enjoys there visit . But the owners are letting the place down and not spending money on the place it's a pity as this place is very nice and Louis works very hard
The bar man was very kind and courteous! I shall definitely return! The wine bar was peaceful and very pleasant too!

Louis was absolutely lovely today. Despite being on his own, his service couldn’t of been more spot on. I came in today for my friends birthday and was greeted with 10/10 service and this continued during our late lunch, despite the stress of a one man band. Louis is an absolute credit to the business and I couldn’t thank him enough for his hospitality. He made our birthday lunch! Thank you Louis for his amazing service. We will definitely be returning!
A hidden gem. It definitely deserves more attention. Wine, service, ambiance and price are all amazing.

Had a lovely mid afternoon date there, our waiter was perfect, the coffee was good, The Albarino wine was delicious and the sharing platter hit the spot. Well done guys had a really great time

Stock and Bailey is a super place to eat and drink. The tapas menu has enough on it to keep anyone more than happy and it’s served beautifully. Dominic and Simon are both much more than friendly and they have a real passion for customer service and care. There is nothing they don’t know between them. Whether it’s an exceptional coffee served by the amazing Dominic (the very best coffee connoisseur I have ever had the pleasure to meet and chat with) or a rare and specialist tea, fine wine or the very best champagne - they can make anything on a scale and level that can’t be repeated in Colchester anywhere. Simon builds rapport like no other and they compliment each other very well. The location of S&B is perfect and is in the best position in town to avoid all the riff-raff and loud teenagers out experimenting in town. The food, service, staff and management works together superbly!! I can’t recommend the place any more highly than I already do to anyone and everyone!! Bravo guys!! Amazing work and standards of service that is rarely ever seen
Lovely relaxed setting, I love the combination of natural light from a glass ceiling, mild jazz, indistinct chatter and frothy latte (yes, not only wines there). My new favourite.
