Foresters Arms - Colchester - Photo album

Really friendly, great food and efficient service. Came today and was warmly welcomed. Ordered food which was served quickly. Food was delicious especially the pork and chicken which was really succulent. Thanked the young chef, who was really enthusiastic about his cooking. Best roast in Colchester
We had a lovely afternoon in the Foresters with friends. Lucy kept the drinks flowing, while Louise prepared delicious meals which were then served by Linda. It's a really nice old pub, made all the better by the wonderful staff.
As soon as you walk in, you will love this pub. The atmosphere is congenial and the food/drink is exceptional. The staff are amongst the friendliest I've had the pleasure to be served by and nothing, absolutely nothing is too much trouble. Five stars indeed.
Fun, friendly and cozy local Colchester pub. Slightly tucked away but well worth searching out. Friendly and professional staff, good food and importantly clean beer. A nice changing selection of Ales. Definitely one to recommend. A large car park is situated close by if that’s your thing, bus stops
Up in Colchester on business. Dropped in for a pint after a meal in town. Had a pleasant walk through the park and stopped off for a pint here on way back to my hotel. There is a quieter environment on the roads around this pub and I received a warm welcome inside. If you don't fancy the noisy pubs
Great service today from Richard and the Chef. Food and service top notch. Great to have a chat with them whilst paying. If I was local it would be my local but Wiltshire is a bit far to travel for a pint. Even looked after our furry dog to keep him happy.
Called in at the Foresters Arms tonight while in the area . If happened to be steak night so my wife and I had steak and a sweet and got a free bottle of wine . The steak "Ribeye" was cooked well and the meal was excellent. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble . I would visit ag
Had a fabulous afternoon yesterday. Linda serving the food. Lucy serving drinks and Louise cooked the most amazing cauliflower & Lentil pie. When I asked for cheesy mash they said your wish is my command. Perfect. 3 hours we spent in the pub. Perfect.
Great meal and great service, I would definitely recommend the Foresters Arms to anyone looking to enjoy a good Sunday lunch in Colchester. 😁
Nice proper pub, tucked away in a niche in the town centre. Please don't go there and make it crowded.
