By far the best Chinese takeaway in Colchester. Always very friendly and polite on the phone, quick for collection and will always try their best for a fast delivery, with nice drivers too. If you want a good Chinese meal then defiantly go here.
Wow! 5 dishes each more exquisite than the next! The lovely Chinese woman who served us was just as sweet and lovely as the food! The kung pao chicken was the best dish I've ever eaten at any Chinese in my life. I'll definitely be going back tomorrow
Best takeaway we have found in the area. We couldn't believe how busy it was. Can also get delivered to local villages which I a massive bonus. Highly recommend
First time we have used the Peking Palace... and wont be the last. Food was delivered piping hot, the taste and quality was the best we have had in our 14 years in Colchester 5*

Been having take out meals from Peking place Chinese restaurant for many years now, ( tried other local ones from near to town ) it is the best one out there, really hot delivered food, tasty food from special fried rice to lamb curry

The best Chinese takeaway in Colchester and anywhere, for my money. I've been buying Kung po chicken and special fried rice for over twenty years and the quality has never dropped below perfection. I don't even try Kung po from elsewhere because it never comes close. Please don't EVER change!

As someone who is travelling for work purposes I can honestly say I like to check out local places near to my hotel. I’m so glad I did on this occasion. Fantastic food and delivery service was first class with food still piping hot. Generous portions and taste was excellent. It could maybe have done with a bit more curry sauce but that being said I thoroughly enjoyed the food. had a lovely takeaway meal here for four. all cooked nice and hot. sesame toast was nice in fact they do a supreme starter which saves a lot of thinking.
We decided to have Chinese and decided we would order from Peking palace as we had ordered food in the past from there and had never been disappointed asq we had friends over for the evening, the phone lines were really busy, when I got through the lady was very pleasant she told me that they were really busy and there was an hour wait and my food would be ready for collection at 7.40pm this wasn't a problem I then gave her our order I later went and collected it at the agreed time, i couldn't of timed the collection any better our food had just been cooked and was just being packed. The service we received when ordering and when collecting our food was absolutely fantastic and all the food ordered was piping hot and delicious. I Would highly recommend
