Personally I love this venue. The staff are great, the outdoor tvs in the beer garden makes watching sports such as the world cup feel like heaven. Not forgetting the wings. 10/10

This is a pub I have enjoyed over the last 2 name changes and it seems to just get better. Great food, great bar staff and great choice of drinks. Highly recommended!

What a great bar, Surprisingly spacious, the staff were very friendly and helpful the food was excellent and the beer is good what more could you ask for. Very dog friendly and a pool table.
This pub has great service from the friendly staff. It has a table service app with a large outside area with large tables and heaters for the evenings. The food is very nice. Around 10 pounds for a main. The even do fun food like a pizza cone. It has chips and cheese in it with dips included for 10 pounds. You can watch sport if that's your thing. Drinks are a bit pricey but I'm a northerner so I'm bias. Talking about the drink in which I sampled many in my last visit, there is a good variety of drinks. Any thing you can imagine, from shots to craft ales, wines spirits, ciders and larger. The toilets are upstairs so if you have issues getting around or are disabled this may be an issue. All in all a great place to meet and socalise with friends but expect to spend between 50 - 100 pounds on a night out.
Service people are very friendly and helpful. They chat a little and help quickly. Daisy is awesome. Karaoke was simple and we had a very relaxed, easy time. Will definitely return.
Nice sports pub with a good beer garden, large screens throughout showing most sports. Staff are happy to put on a sport if you ask.
Really nice in here. Staff are friendly. Tried to use the app to order drinks but I couldn't figure out how to add anything to a basket, but it didn't take long to get served at the bar and the prices are reasonable. Garden area is nice. Only issue is its very loud so my friends and I were shouting at each other! Toilets are upstairs, I'm not aware if there are accessible toilets (edit - there are! :])

Centurion is always the best I have ever seen in Colchester... Keep rocking Guys... Fantastic Service... Enjoying my Sunday after work.... The people who are on the counter are progressing to a fabulous service...

Nice pub feeling but with modern offerings. Good selection of drinks and decent food and decent prices. Would hesitate in coming back. One star missing as it's got that familiar pub chain problem of lack of upkeep in certain areas

Ad an amazing experience at the centurion today ,greeted by the fabulous rukia,served by An amazin american by the name of daisy who served my every need ,my spectacular four hour visit was aided by grace,lewis salma and bouncy Gaby ...greatest sports bar in all of Essex and a banging fish n chips too ....highly reccomend

My colleagues and I booked a bottomless brunch here at Centurion last weekend and we were really pleased with the quality of food and drinks! The atmosphere and music were complimenting too, we all agreed to come back again! 🤍
