Been going there for over 25 years. Has got much better recently. Curry’s are flavoursome and on point.
First visit for about 8/9 years and although we were a large party, service was good, food was delicious and hot - hot. The Cobras were flowing. Couldn’t fault anything

I visited Raj Palace with my mum and we were greeted by wonderfully friendly staff, who made us feel very welcome, the atmosphere was relaxing and service was efficient and quick. The food was absolutely wonderful! Fresh, and excellent texture and flavour. I highly recommend Raj Palace for anyone who enjoys high quality cooking. An absolutely delightful evening, and a huge thank you to our waiters! I recommend the Hari Hari Chicken with Mushroom Rice!
Raj Palace restaurant is specialised in Indian cuisine. They had recently refurbished the restaurant with a fresh look, spacious and great ambiance. They also undertake large party orders. Restaurant is maintained well and good quality food. There are also toilets for men & women. Pleasant place to enjoy with family and friends.
Recently been to The Raj Palace and what can I say other than gorgeous. The service was extremely friendly and the owner Rashid made me and other customers feel so welcomed and catered to, extremely polite and approachable team and to take things to the next level the food was as stated before…. Bloody gorgeous!!!! I consider myself a foodie so I appreciate good food and wow…. The flavors are perfectly combined and balanced, left a fiery dance on my taste buds ( have none spicy options for those not keen on heat ). 5* across the board will definitely be coming back again very soon and would recommend to anyone who likes this style of cuisine.
Came here for our anniversary, my wife and I both loved the restaurant. The staff were amazing and quick to respond to our orders and needs. The food was amazing and tasty. The atmosphere was good, service was top notch. Would come back again.

A pleasant place to eat. The popadum, with vegetables and four different sauces was very nice. The samosa too was great. The lamb Biryani mixed with rice and specially made hot was great. The Tawa chicken specially made hot too was splendid. The special fried rice also very good.
The guys service was second to none. Every few minutes, they enquired if we needed anything and was everything okay. 👏👍🏿
Superb Indian food together with service! 100% recommend to anyone who enjoys Indian food. They also do omelette if you don't like Indian food (good for us as someone in our party don't eat Indian food so wouldn't come with us!)
The food and service here is amazing. If you're in the area do yourself a favor and pop in. Best chicken tika masala I've ever experienced.

I have eaten here dozens of times over many years. Certainly, over the last three years, service has been reliable, friendly and prompt and the manager will adapt to fit your plans if you book to bring a large group. Prices are competitive for the town and the two meals I eat most often, Lamb Achari and Chicken Vindaloo, are spicy and contain quality ingredients. The place is clean and bright and the vast majority of people leave the place happy.
