I always happily return as the food is absolutely perfect and so yummy! The terrace is just the perfect place to chill, always good atmosphere.
My wife and I were treated to an afternoon tea at the Lakes Restaurant Stoke by Nayland. We booked a midweek date which was very quiet, so we had an unrivalled view of the golf course. Food was perfect and very tasty.
Service was good and pleasant staff.

My husband & I have just had a 2 night stay at Stoke By Nayland - both nights we ate at the Lakes Restaurant & had outstanding service by the team, especially Hugo. We were so impressed by his professionalism & attention to detail. Hopefully it won’t be too long before we return & be served by Hugo again.
Really good breakfast selection. Dinner menu wasn't to my liking, but the portion sizes were good and the other 11 in our group didn't leave ANYTHING behind. ☺
Really lovely restaurant, hotel and Spa. My wife and I have spend a good few nights here over the past 4 years or so. We love the surrounding and the evening meals in both the bar and restaurant are just excellent. We were slightly unimpressed with the breakfast this trip but all in all a great evening away from the kids. Staff are all friendly and extremely helpful. Check out the kids swimming lesson schedule if you are planning a kid free spa session. They didn't disturb us one bit but I know some people can be fussy.
Stunning food, cooked to perfection and served professionally. Waiters are very attentive and friendly. Beautiful views of the golf course, restaurant is warm, cosy and very inviting. Food served consistently with very little wait between courses, one of the best places I have eaten in a long while. I must visit in my opinion.
Great choice of menu, well cooked and presented. Very attentive and friendly staff. Reasonably priced for the quality of the restaurant.

The restaurant is a nice experience, food is good and lovely views over the golf course. Bar food menu in the lounge area is limited and pricey. Golf bar is good value and well priced
Had a lovely afternoon tea, one criticism, we weren't offered anymore hot tea & it would have been nice to have some savoury pastries aswell as sandwiches, otherwise, excellent.
We only had Breakfast. Excellent service & ambiance let down by hot buffet which as usual at such hotels was only semi warm. Fresh fruit from there own adjoining farm was super.
The staff are amazing!! So friendly and polite. We loved our spa stay 🥰
