Bengal Diner - Colchester - Photo album

I really like the Bengal Diner, it's a bit of a trek for me from Wivenhoe but they thankfully deliver all the way out to us! :D The food is really nice, and the atmosphere in the actual restaurant is great as well. :) Top marks!
Born in Birmingham, I was a regular visitor to the "Balti belt". After 15 years of living in Colchester I have a found a Chicken Tikka Masala that rivals any curry house in Birmingham. 5 stars and one word awesome !
Very highly recommended. Fresh delicious food. Will visit again.
Lovely curry house. We have eaten in and had take away (collection) before. The food is excellent quality and I can't fault the service or atmosphere. It's a charming old building, too, perhaps a former pub? Really deserves more generous reviews than current rating suggests. Thank you, we will be ba
Stunning food as usual, lots of fuss made over the children and even asking if their meal was OK. Olga, our waitress is an absolute credit to them. She made our evening so special and for that we can't wait to go back. Thank you Olga x
I have eaten indian food for thirty years all over the world , my brother is married to an Indian woman. I had a special lamb tikka dakan and my wife chicken tikka madras and we both agreed this is the best food we have ever tasted anywhere. The restaurant ambience was poor.
Highly recommend, best Indian ever and I have had a few! Excellent service, friendly, fast delivery, as Cheryl is always happy service with a smile, best delivery driver! Amazing always happy to help. Can’t recommend enough. Unfortunately I can only have every 4 weeks as other half does not like Ind
Absolutely brilliant. What an amazing memorable evening! So glad we went. Lovely venue, really nicely decorated, very comfortable seating , outside area , very good staff! We went to the Dolly Parton evening and thoroughly enjoyed it! Thanks very much to our hosts ! We went on the evening of 2nd Jun
Lovely staff, good quality food, all you can eat for £20 some nights. Recommended. Update June 2022, staff and food quality still high. Currently all you can eat (with a few exceptions) is £16.95 2 days per week. See website for details.
Booked to see Blues Bros but they could not come due to Covid!! So they booked another singer which they told us after we sat down. He was ok better than nothing as there was a few of us enjoying the evening. I would not of booked to see him and was disappointed not to see The blues brothers but at
We had another wonderful meal there last night. Have to say you can taste every ingredient in their dishes. Love this place and all the team. Alway a wonderful experience. A must visit for authentic cuisine. Keep up the great work my friends
Always order my takeaway curries from here. Best in Colchester in my opinion. Deliveries usually come way before the time specified. Food is usually always hot but always take into account that the driver has to sit in traffic. So proper good service.
I am a regular visitor to the Bengal, everytime I walk through the door I receive VIP quality of the service. The staff cannot do enough for you. The food is always good and of a high standard. I have no complaints regarding the time it takes to delivery freshly cooked food. The restaurant is warm
Had a valentines meal here and it has impressed me the food was good the atmosphere was very nice and staff polite also very good and timing they tables so no one waited long at all. I'm quite fussy to please too x
Went here recently, nothing was to much trouble and the food was excellent. The lamb pathia was probably the best I have had and the service was excellent, although we were a large party, bengal diner were able to serve all off our food together and without much of a wait. If I lived closer I woul
