The food was excellent, tasty and proper size, enough choises for everyone (kids and vegetarian). Friendly atmosphere and good quality of service. No wheelchair access. The closest parking space is about 3 minutes walking.
The best Mediterranean restaurant in town. Highly recommended.

One of my favourite places to eat in Colchester. Amazing food with an extensive menu, although not many options for vegetarians on the main menu. Staff are fairly friendly and prices are reasonable.

i went here about a month ago with my husband and a friend, the food was brilliant, very filling and service was quick. highly recommended for a tuesday evening.
Even though they were clearly short on staff, we were served on time with a complementary nibble of pita and flavour filled humus. The lamb and prawn both were rightly seasoned. Very good portion size and value for money.

Great shisha garden, almost felt like being abroad 😅
Always come here for lunch when I am in Colchester. Lovely Lebanese food. I love the wraps. Such good value for money. Lovely staff. Highly recommend.
Great food, very reasonably priced, the owner brought us complimentary soup while we were waiting for mains which was delicious. For the mains we had a selection of lamb chops, shish and Korte kebabs, chicken wings with salad and chips, all delicious especially the lamb elements. I would give it 5 stars although we were the only people in there on a Thursday night, which is nice in some ways but then sometimes it's nice to have a bit of atmosphere. However the owner was very friendly and really looked after us and we left feeling happy with full tummies and not a massive bill, so all good and will go again.
Mixed grill for 2 was delicious. Dips and bread lovely. Very friendly. Great value.
The food is *amazing*, the staff are *friendly* . But, the portion was too big for me bit they said they would wrap it up for me to take away. Very very good place to go and eat, well worth spending an hour and a half of your day or a trip into town. And it also has *Just Eat* Home delivery.

Tasty food, generous portions at reasonable price. It's heaven for meat lovers but equally has many tasty vegetarian dishes. Great for eating in, take out or delivery. Very friendly service every time we have eaten in the restaurant and relatively child friendly. Has a little courtyard at the back with extra tables but that's where the smokers go and shisha smoking too so if you bring kids along I would suggest sitting inside instead.
We have also ordered delivery from here many times before. We have found that ordering through apps like JustEat seems to be better and the order is less likely to be wrong cos in the evenings (especially weekends) it get busy and noisy so when placing an order over the phone we found we had to keep repeating ourselves and when it arrived part of the order was missing or wrong. Delivery time could be an hour plus at busy times as all the kebabs and meat are freshly cooked but it is certainly worth the wait. Very often we would order an hour before we intend to eat, knowing delivery would take a while and that has worked well.

The food was tasty and well priced; the Lebanese drinks were delicious and refreshing; the service was very friendly and professional, as attentive as you want; and the atmosphere was relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable.

The food here is so good. I usually grab the meal of the day, a nice cold drink and a shisha and just chill out at the back area. It's nice and relaxing. If you are cold, they have these lovely heaters and warm blankets. They have a wide range of middle Eastern food and sweets too. Would recommend for meals, family meals, dates and everything.
Had the best time. The staff were on job even though it was quite busy! Food, drinks and shisha were on 💯. Intact, I had a little too much fun and left my wallet... i was so worried. picked it up the next day with no issues. Thanks to all Albatta staff. Keep up the good job.
