We came here for a late lunch and it was absolutely AMAZING!!! the food was SO good and really good size portions! The staff were brilliant!! It's a good job we're not local cause I would be back everyday for loaded fries!!! Sensational!!

Visited here for the first time for boxing day lunch and wow wow wow we was impressed. The food was lovely, the interior is cosy but classy and the staff were great! This is local to us and will now definitely be one of our go to places to eat out at. Highly recommend for others to visit.
We were a party of 11 with allergies & 3 people arriving 20 minutes late on a busy Sunday lunchtime. I can honestly say the staff were amazing & the food was perfect. I’ve eaten in some wonderful places & all three course were incredible, with great value for money. Everyone wants to return again & we most certainly will. The atmosphere was beautiful - lovely refurbished restaurant with a country feel. Perfect for larger parties, families or a more intimate meal. Well done guys, you certainly delivered & lived up to your reputation as a warm, friendly place with fantastic food
My second consecutive week eating here and I can confidently say that the roast dinner is not to be missed! Everything was cooked to perfection, presented beautifully, and represented excellent value for money. The new chefs are consistently delivering delicious, quality food and I'm looking forward to returning and sampling more from the menu!
Lovely surroundings, food was cooked beautifully, staff and locals were all very friendly. Good selection of drinks (especially gin). The mushroom starter was creamy and delicious, the batter on our fish was delightfully crunchy. Will certainly come back.
Walked in the morning and came back here for a light lunch. Used the bar which was quite quiet with a few regulars. Nice wood burner stove. There seemed to be more people in the restaurant. Beer was good and we had baguettes which came very well filled, with a small salad and fries. The food was very good and the portion size made it good value for money. Would be happy to go back again.
I ordered fish and chips. Where we were seated, the table for 4 near the fish tank, I noticed that there were flies on the window. What intrigued me was the tartar sauce as a few nights previous at a different restaurant, I had a fish and chips where the tartar sauce was below expectations. The tartar sauce here was a delight. The batter was lovely and light and the chips lived up to expectations. Overall, a fantastic meal, only slightly offset by the flies.
Really nice little pub in a quiet setting, the bar is small and cosy while the restaurant is vast and spacious. The furniture is fantastic, the tables especially are a nice touch. The food that we ordered was top notch, the steak was cooked to exactly how we wanted and tasted great, chips were gorgeous! The best part is the food is cooked to order, not en masse. Each table is attended to individually with plenty of staff to go round. Fire places are a nice touch on those looooong winter nights.
Had a wonderful meal - lamb and pea pie. Highly recommended food and pub.

Me and a couple of friends went to this lovely pub for an evening meal tonight. All 3 of us were extremely impressed with both the food and service.
We sat in the garden room, which was very well done, with a large heater and ambient fairly lights making a really nice, relaxed atmosphere - regardless of the cold outside temp!
Really nice welcoming atmosphere from the staff, we really recommend this pub to anyone.
Serving staff a little inexperienced, but service was fairly quick k. Food was good, although starters seemed expensive for their size. Lovely ambience- will go again.
Had a lovely evening! Beer prices were great and Emma was amazing! Love Boss the Rottweiler. Will definitely visit again! 🙂
Delightful village pub with a lovely ambience. I had my birthday meal for 6 in the gorgeous garden room last night, the waitresses could not have been more helpful and the food was delicious. It is so great to see the heart of our village back again . Kerry and Mark you are doing a wonderful job.
