A wonderful experience in the cafe, with delicious food and excellent coffee. The coconut brownie and the Mediterranean Vegetable tart come highly recommended. Following that, I had an Iced Americano, which was likewise amazing!

Amazing vegan cafe based in Colchester town centre.
Sophie allowed us to hold part of our event at the cafe when we were struggling to find suitable premises.
Both Sophie and her team were so accommodating, nothing was too much hassle.
The buffet they put together for us was delicious and everybody loved it, in particular the pizzas and sausage rolls.
Can't thank Cafe Sala enough for all their help to make the day run so seamlessly.
Sophie made a cake for our dairy free guests at our wedding and it looked and tasted amazing. Due to guest numbers changing we had to book quite last minute and Sophie was super accommodating. Highly recommend!

I didn't try any hot food they had a surprisingly large menu for what looked to be a small kitchen.
Great coffee, cakes to die for! And it’s all vegan! Almost feels weird having too much choice on the menu. Friendly staff. Nice cozy little nooks to sit in too.

Quick coffee stop at Caffe Sala, had me try the Honeycomb latte and the Sticky Toffee Biscoff slice. It was truly delicious and hit all the right spots. The beans they use alin the coffee are sublime!
Visited for lunch with my partner and had an amazing meal. Everything on their menu is completely vegan but you wouldn't know it from the taste. We thoroughly enjoyed a sandwich and bagel, which were delicious and hearty, but the star of the show was the Frappe. We're both lactose intolerant so were delighted that we could enjoy a Frappe without feeling deathly ill for once, and they were amazing! Recommended for both vegans and non-vegans alike.
Best chai latte ever, really enjoyed vegan foods
Food simple but you can feel they put heart in all dishes. The cheese melt exactly right texture and the pitta bread crispy toasted ! Pumpkin spices latte is warm and nice. Beautiful interior, relax atmosphere. £9.5 for 1 hearty dish with hot drink, what else can you ask for ?
They got few range of cakes, some vegan choice as well, definitely come back next time :)
Great coffee and I love not having to pay extra for plant milk. You can't even tell that the cakes are vegan.
The food and drinks selection has quite a variety to pick from. I've eaten here a lot now, so have been able to try most things. Most of it is fantastic, albeit expensive(ish). The staff are pretty friendly and welcoming, and the place can be quite cosy.
I'd recommend planning your visit as it can get rather busy, especially on weekends; we love to see vegan places do well!

I like to check out the Gluten -free options and there was four cakes on offer so I went for one of them.
Warm welcome, good vibes, made my croissant into a meal, amazing vegan cake, wasn't surprised they had almond and coconut milk either. Win win!
Second visit there, first since the pandemic and expected delicious vegan options like we've had before. Turns out it's now completely vegan. Nice to see it busy, great chat with the owner and it seems delicious food and drink is the priority over a huge range of food. We all (4) enjoyed our meals and drinks. Highly recommended for anyone
