Lovely service, very friendly atmosphere, home-like food and cosy decor. The fish we had for lunch was freshly caught in the morning. Wonderful gem, can't wait to visit again.
Incredible place and amazing food. Worth the drive out. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves seafood.
Excellent value. Lovely people a perfect lunch on a very rainy day
The sea food platters are absolutely delicious, in fact the food in general is superb. We feel that its a worthwhile journey from Leigh on sea to the restaurant and the excitement and anticipation on this our second visit was highly justifiable. The girls on front of house duty are extremely friend
this place was fabulous! cheap and good quality. food was great and all fish was local and smoked in-house. The lady that owns the restaurant is such a lovely person and gave us good recommendations on what to eat. also desert was lovely! the pickled pear was also great and made right there.
This a superb small lunchtime only restaurant serving a great seafood menu with local produce, craft beers and friendly, accommodating staff. A definate 'go and try' best to book though as it has a good reputation and fills quickly. We ate on Sunday outside and had a great meal as usual.
Great place, food is fantastic as are the staff , very helpful and friendly. The other customers are amazing too ( big thank you to the lady who jump started our car ) Will definitely be going back very soon so we can try some of the other delicious menu options (and hopefully make it to the beach t
Beautiful local seafood restaurant. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It feels a bit like you are in a family home for dinner. Food tastes great and is reasonably priced. The fresh oysters (from their own farm) are to die for!
Excellent seafood lovely atmosphere and reasonable price
Really quirky and special, beautifully fresh fish and seafood in a run down old building in the middle of nowhere! We had platters and the local skate, everything was amazing and the local Mersea wine was delicious too.
