Food was filling and tasted really good this afternoon. Mummy & Daddy are very full up and the kids are happy too! Friendly, family environment and after this experience today, I'd definitely recommend to friends! Thank you for quickly resolving previous issues, and thank you for such a great dinner!

I had my 40th birthday party here and can't fault it. The rooms were lovely, the food was great and the staff were exceptionally helpful, ensured my party went very smoothly. Would recommend, thanks Ross and all the staff that worked on 30th September.

Just had a lovely meal in the White Hart this evening with my son, such a friendly warm atmosphere and welcomed/talked to my 8 year old son. Even gave him some marbles to play with next to the fire place A great place for families!

Really old hotel. Employees were really friendly and helpful. Food and beverage prices are reasonable. Rooms are clean and tidy, but they are small . But we were only in them to sleep. So they were ok. The only negative/bad thing I could say is. There is no A/C in the hotel. But that is what you expect in an old hotel. Overall, it was a great stay. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like the old time hotel experience.

Stayed one night for work in a single bedroom. Room was all good, comfy bed, high standard of decoration and really clean. Customer service was the real winner, every member of staff I spoke to was a delight, really cheerful and happy to help. Had a lovely continental breakfast, delicious coffee and the breakfast staff member was outstanding, so upbeat and friendly, nothing too much trouble - which is a great fit for breakfast time 😀

We weren't at the pub very long, used as a base as we were attending a wedding nearby. The service at check-in was great, informative and what we needed. The rooms themselves are dated but comfortable.

Our room was fairly average, but it had everything we needed. As well as being clean and presentable. Exactly what you'd expect from a room at a pub. It was however perfectly located for the Houchins wedding venue which is the reason we stayed there. The lady at reception when we checked in and checked out was superb; very friendly and extremely helpful.

We , 26 of us, popped in for drinks after doing two local walks which included Nunns bridge and St Nicholas Chapel and The Abbey. We were well looked after. I would love to come again but it is miles from our home Recommended.

14 people in our party, all expertly served by one waitress. A little bit disappointed with my fish and chips. Was overcooked, I didn't complain as I was having a lovely time celebrating my grandsons 30th. I can't really comment on the location as I was driven there.

Situated in the heart of historic Coggeshall this Hotel offers a good well stocked bar and spacious restaurant. Food can be purchased in the bar as well as the restaurant and either os very good. Stayed over night, the rooms are basic but clean, comfortable and well appointed. The hotel offers Family, Double, single and twin rooms. Breakfast was a buffet of cerial, yoghurt, fruit, pastries and toast as well as various cooked options. All well cooked and very tasty.

Decent rooms. Not bad beer. Burger I ordered was good enough but my colleagues weren't impressed by their meals. Friendly, professional staff.

Very friendly staff, meals were nice/amazing full English, and the room was comfortable. The building was old and had loads of character. Plenty of free parking. Would definitely stop again

Popped in due to a hold up on the A120, the staff were great, to the point of helping me get my wife's wheelchair over a step,we had a meal,my gammon steak was one of the best I have ever had, parking a slight issue, but car park not too far away, could do with a little tarting up, but then again it is a very old inn.

Went for lunch, was absolutely starving when I go there. I usually don't try new foods but i decided to give it a chance I got the vegetarian sandwich and it was great! Brownie was also quality, so was the soup, oh and so was the garlic bread!

Beautiful old building, our room was lovely and clean. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Had a roast dinner on the Sunday evening and it was delicious. Had the full English for breakfast, and it was well worth the cost. Tasty and hot.

At the heart of the village, this place offers accommodation, food and drinks. Staff and service are brilliant and very friendly. The menu is well priced and beautiful and the beers are competitively priced. The building is amazing, 15th century I'm told, and has quirks and features in every room. Absolutely amazing.

Stopped in for breakfast, which was lovely. The food took a little while to arrive, but we were warned in advance by the very friendly staff.

Lovely old building and nice pub with kind and attentive staff but I'm not a fan of Greene King, so wasn't too into the beers. Food was good pub grub. The beer garden is good with a mega undercover area which is great for those rainy/drizzley British days. We also stayed 2 nights, it was the best value in the village so we were surprised at how good it was. Comfy and maybe too warm (it was winter)

Lovely evening, friendly staff good food. Will definitely return for more. Second visit food still good and service lovely. Sat in the restaurant for a family meal and was not disappointed in anyway. Steak and ale pie and chips for me but all food looked great can't find a fault. Thank you
