The Linny At Coffinswell - Coffinswell - Photo album

Visited this lovely restaurant with friends who had used it many times before and was not disappointed. Food was fabulous, service was excellent all freshly produce on the day and home made. I had to the rack of lamb which was cooked to perfection, the fish pie was excellent with large pieces of fis
Loved it. Wish I was in the main dining area but we had a larger number and someone's gotta sit out the back I suppose. Food was yummy. Service was great. Altho our waiter did describe something incorrect to how it arrived but they quickly apologised and brought extra mash when asked. Nothing was a
Really lovely pub, but not enough parking for all customers, food was delicious and reasonably priced for such good quality cuisine. Wine was lovely but eye wateringly expensive. Do I recommend this place? You bet..
What a fabulous pub with a thatched roof. We were worried if there was going to be a table as the car park was so full but all the staff were so accommodating and friendly, although we did decide to sit outside in the end due to the nice weather. The food was absolutely delicious probably one of the
We booked a table at the Linny today, we had a beautiful meal! It was very busy and unfortunately service was slow, but worth waiting for.
Well worth waiting for. Has been on the list for some time as word locally is it's a great place to eat. And the word was correct. This was an evening for 3 of us. Parking a little tight so being early for your definitely required reservation is advisable. Thatched period building just aching with h
I had the most incredible steak here, it was cooked perfectly and flavoured to match. The service was outstanding, I was treated like a local despite it being my first visit. I was made to feel welcomed and wanted, and the whole atmosphere was super friendly. I could not compliment the food enough
Thank you “the Linny” coffinswell I haven’t been for managing years - I used to love the place but life takes over sometimes - but our revisit was very overdue and VERY worth making We try to have a roast on a Sunday but we are often busy during the day and so like to eat in the evening Soooo m
Went for lunch with my sister-in-law & my niece. It was on a Wednesday & luckily we booked a table as it was extremely busy. We only went for lunch but the food that was coming out looked so nice that we had a 2 course meal. The food was excellent as was the service & the atmosphere & I'm looking
Lovely cosy pub. The food was excellent, the brill fish in tempura batter was so lovely it was the best meal I've had in a while. I am not a local, which is a shame as I'd love to return, but maybe in the future. Until then, it will stay in my mind as a great meal had whilst away on holiday and some
What a pleasure. Beautiful building inside and out. Excellent service. They certainly have enough staff and very polite and courteous. Went as a party of 4. Three of us had the roast dinner. Excellent meat and vegetable portions. All very tasty. Only one negative, one bowl of roasters and New potato
Really lovely Saturday lunch in a 14th century thatched pub situated in the village location of Coffinswell. Good quality plain cooking, very well executed, and where possible using locally sourced ingredients. Friendly and polite staff, perfectly reasonable selection of beer and a couple of ciders.
Must be one of the top restaurants in Devon. Brilliant service - no waiting for drinks or food. Food absolutely delicious. Hot, hot plates and hot, well cooked, well presented food. Must visit more often. Would, without reservation, thoroughly recommend. The Roast Lamb and sticky ginger puddi
First time of eating at the Linny last night and it won't be my last I hope. It was busy with a lovely atmosphere. Food was very good with plenty of choice and reasonable too. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Food was very prompt, in fact I personally prefer more time between courses, but cert
Food excellent, Service excellent, Atmosphere excellent. Staff were very good, polite and attentive . When we were there when the place was full, had to wait a little longer for meal, but we'll worth it. Compensated with extra home baked grannery bread and dip which was welcome. Have been to the Lin
Used to go to the owners other pubs years ago as a boy with my family. As the years went by forgot about the Linny. We have been looking for a new pub/restaurant to go to with good beer and good food. So for my step daughters birthday was a good reason to try somewhere new. So we gave it a try we we
We always enjoy our visit to The Linny. The proprietors and their staff are always friendly and efficient. The menu represents great value for the high quality meals that are served.
Food is excellent and the staff very friendly. A food only pub really but they do that very well. No WiFi available though. Down some very narrow country lanes to get there - not a place you will happen across. Car park gets full so book and arrive early is my advice.
