Stopped here on the way back from RAF Cosford as wanted some lunch and the first pub we had tried wasn't very good.
The Bentlands however was the total opposite.
Service was great and the food was excellent. Considering the car park was full when we arrived and I was told food might take a while it really didn't take much longer than you would expect. We did have a starter but that actually arrived really quickly.
Bar service was a little slow at first but the quantity of staff was increased to rectify that.
If you live in the area and haven't tried this place before or if you are visiting the museum and want lunch then this is definitely somewhere to go.
Myself and a friend had a lovely lunch yesterday, delicious food, great service, nice atmosphere. Can't wait to go back again.
This pretty pub restaurant nestled in a picturesque spot in Codsall is always worth a visit . It had a homely classic appeal beautifully laid out. We go there a lot for family birthdays and they never disappoint they are very accommodating and welcoming. If for a large group best to book and they will facilitate your needs. The service is second to none with there excellent staff and the food quality and choice is out of this world. Catering to all tastes and dietary requirements. For a table of ice we all had different items but the look of joy and satisfaction was consistent across the table. And their staff add to the joy of the evening .
Comfortable large pub. Great choice of quality food at reasonable prices, very tasty Tex Mex dishes. Good choice of real ales. Highly recommended.
Popped in for a couple of drinks after child minding. Never been in before, pleasant surprise. Didn't eat but menu looked nice, varied and good value. Loads of parking. Would definitely visit again
Went here Monday after a funeral. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Not too busy. A few others besides our lot.
Drinks were good and had a huge selection especially of gin. Beer was great as was cider.
Food was lovely and came out quickly.
The lite bite burgers were like regular burgers with fewer chips so if you really want something light, I'd probably say get something different as it's not that light. But very nice burger and chips.
Sweet and Sour chicken was beautiful. Loads of chicken, loads of chips and loads of rice. Definitely bring your appetite! Great value for money. Had a varied and extensive menu. Would definitely come back especially for the food and recommend.
Came for my birthday dinner and once again great service, great food, great price and covid compliant and social distancing rules in place. Booked via phone. Food was lovely again, we are Bentlands repeat offenders as its worth the trip for a meal here. Minor concern over the warmth of the belly pork in bbq sauce not being as hot as I would have liked but it didn't distract from being nice

Very welcoming staff, the menu has a very wide range to choose from, as well as a vegan menu.
The selection of ales is very good too.
There is a huge beer garden 'round the back with large parasols.
First time we went here and will definitely be back again. Lovely place. Friendly staff that are very helpful. Meal portions are very generous and all freshly made. My burger was an inch thick as you can see from the pics. Chips were lovely. The chicken wings were amazing with a generous sized portion and all food was served piping hot. Didn't manage to try a pudding because we were full from mains. I enjoyed a few pints of Enville. Huge garden area outside. Pleasantly surprised by this place and it's menu. One if my boys chose a jacket potato with cheese & beans which in the menu comes with salad. They were happy to swop the salad for some chips.

Enjoyed our first visit, food and portion sizes very good, they was extremely busy but staff when came to table were friendly, pleasant. Will definitely be back.
We live in the area and this is our most reliable place to re-visit to eat out. The food is good, service good and prices also good. Menu is Tex-Mex with other pub and classic dishes. Good selection of beer.
Visited here a few weeks ago, our last visit was a few years ago as we don’t live close. Service was brilliant and the food was fantastic. Nothing to fault at all. Busy and lively pub. Very attentive staff. 👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing food. Can’t really say much more! For me personally it was similar to TGI Friday without the ridiculous price tag!
Frist time we have visited meal was excellent steak 🥩 was cooked perfectly the mixed grill was lovely and excellent value staff were friendly and helpful enjoyed our visit will go again and would recommend to anyone
Went for husbands b'day. Asked for quiet table. Put in small area, book only. On own at first but several tables soon taken. They did their best , but tables a bit too close for privacy and peace. Otherwise great.
First time visit. Excellent service - very attentive. Good menu and drink choices. Will visit again.

Lovely atmosphere and great service. A little less batter and frying of the fish would improve the quality of the fish and chips dish.
Great pub food and brilliantly kept ale! This isn't fine dining, it's pub food but done very very well! The staff are welcoming and friendly! The place is a great pub and well recommended.
Great food, service second to none. Exceptionally clean. Large outdoor area. Fantastic atmosphere. Good mix of all ages.
