We went to The Anchor Inn for dinner. This place is dog friendly which is a bonus. The staff are friendly and helpful!
What a lovely pub. The interior is fascinating. Everywhere you look it’s something related to fishing, boats and the sea.

Nice pub with outdoor seating. Good place to have a meal overlooking Cockwood harbour. We had wholetail scampi & chips, scampi very good, a lot of chips had black bits in them. ( should be using better potatoes at these prices) Highly recommend the Banoffe pie for pud, very good. Pub is right nex
What a superb country pub.
A proper old-school landlord who looks after the Cask ale so it is well kept - 4/5 kegs available when we visited.

I highly recommend The Anchor Inn, it's a lovely old building and the food was excellent. I really enjoyed the Moroccan mussels. The waiting staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the building has a cracking atmosphere. If I lived locally this would definitely be a regular place to visit

Really couldn't fault this pub. Staff were friendly and attentive, food came quickly and was delicious with large portions, for a reasonable price. Overheard other customers asking for variations from the menu and the kitchen were happy to accommodate all reasonable requests. Booking recommended. Sm
One of the best sea food in my life. Huge plate with various muscles and 2 lobsters. Everything deeped in garlic/parsley butter which makes it even tastier. Highly recommend!
