Loved this little bar and the girls behind the bar worked so very hard every minute we were there! Locals very friendly and enjoyed a nice chat with them. Disabled toilets could have done with a good clean but that was the only thing that wasn't positive 😕
Really nice, friendly atmosphere.
Very accommodating when wanting a specific football match on. Manager/owner changed all TVs and even put sound on. Excellent customer service, friendly staff and cheap beers! Child friendly atmosphere! Will come again, thanks.
Bar staff are really friendly, the guy behind the bar who has tattoos down his left arm couldn't do enough for us!

We have never been to this pub before and we were made really welcome and given great bar service. Had a lovely couple of hours sat on a barstool watching darts....only called in for one!! But felt so chilled and comfortable, stayed for 4!

Popped in for a quick pint and bite to eat after a walk around town.
They weren't serving food but allowed us to bring our own in from a local shop.
Beer nice and cheap too.
Good sports bar type pub.Several TVs showing sport. Billiards table. Pleasant, helpful staff. Enjoyed our brief Sunday afternoon visit and will return soon

this is a great pub to go and visit the staff are very helpful and can't do enough for you the weekends are good too as they have bands on and the atmosphere is great!! the beer is reasonable so yes I recommend this pub especially if you go to Cockermouth

Great service and drinks were very reasonably priced. Left my phone there by mistake and they kept it there so managed to get it back.
