Myself and my boyfriend visited Koppers for the first time on Monday evening (23rd August). I really enjoyed the vibes of the place. The Organic Cider was lovely. The only reason I marked down a star is because the cider I originally wanted which was supposed to be on Tap (Orchard Theives - I think) wasn't available and an IPA drink my boyfriend wanted wasn't available either. However, we did have a great time and the cider we ended up with was lovely. Staff were friendly, historic decor (cel doors) was really interesting to see too.

Stopped in for a quick drink while passing. The bar I got served at was a small thing by the front door. I don't know if there is a second bigger bar, as I didn't venture any further inside. It felt a little "cozy" inside for me. Cocktail I had was made fresh and was the best espresso martini I've had in a good 3 years. There was a large seating area out front, which is where I made myself comfortable.
Love this place. Staff very pleasant and the cocktails are lush. Beer gardens is lovely 👍

Found this place by chance walking past with my wife and dogs. They are happy with dogs in the bar area so we decided to try it for lunch. We both had the special of Chilli Beef Stir Fry, it was amazing and made with steak, which was very tender and tasty. For dessert we had the homemade Sticky toffee pudding which was also amazing. The lady owner who served us was very friendly and helpful.
We shall definitely be back.
Great bar and excellent outside area at the rear and nice sun trap at the front, friendly staff good selection of drinks. Atmosphere is great.
Go here on a regular basis, staff are great.

Lovely casual bar atmosphere. Shame outside seating area had been damaged by recent high waters so was out of use, otherwise great riverside views.

Staying in Cockermouth for 2 nights. Stumbled on this place. Had fabulous tapas. Barman was great at recommending what gin to have. Wonderful selection. Dog friendly. Staff friendly & welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.
Just enjoyed a couple days away in Cockermouth and this was our favourite bar for a couple of drinks before tea (they are not doing food currently)! What a stunning bar decorwise. Really lovely helpful and friendly staff and a great selection of drinks. Thank you!
Went for a drink before a meal nearby. Excellent information and service from wait/bar staff. Nice cocktails and cosy decent sized garden at back.
I had lunch there on 10th August all three of us absolutely loved our lunch. I personally had the backed potatoe with chilli chicken witch was freshly made. Decor also fantastic and well maintained. To top it all it's dog friendly
Decent newish cafe in downtown Cockermouth. Simple styling and food, a nice throwback to the police station that this place was at one time. Ok with dogs. Takes contactless though not easy to see bikes if you are cycling though on a fine day there is outside seating.
Called here for drinks with friends on a Saturday evening. Very loud music in the downstairs bar area, the upstairs area was much quieter
Comfortable enough and pleasant surroundings. Prices aren't unreasonable for the town.
