My friends organised a surprise hen party afternoon tea for me on Saturday afternoon. The cafe itself is in what's like a greenhouse which is lovely but you can also sit outside. All the sandwiches and cakes were delicious and the owner had even made me a strawberry cheesecake with "Good Luck Sarah" written on which was a lovely touch. Staff were great as well. Can highly recommend the afternoon tea and they are very accommodating for larger groups.

Just by chance we found you and what a little treasure we found, lovely peaceful tea room with excellent food and service plus what more could we wish for when a squirrel popped into view.

Lovely little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, great service and very friendly staff. Nice choice of food to choose from. Would highly recommend for afternoon tea. Reasonably priced, just make sure you have cash as they don’t take card payments.

Lovely food and drinks, great service, very friendly staff. The setting of the tea room is very pleasant. The only downsides of the tea room is they don't take card payments plus at the current time there are no squirrels to watch due to squirrel pox in the area. Though you can buy bank transfer as an alternative.

Loved this little cafe, so quaint and focused on the love of birds and red squirrels. We sat outside and it was lovely watching the birds come down to the feeders. The service was excellent, catering for Vegan diet and accommodating us. Will definitely call again if we pass by the area of Cockermouth.

Called for a coffee but stayed for a late lunch. Gluten free baked potato with cheese and a delicious fresh salad. Brocolli and cheddar soup was excellent too. Staff were quick, efficient and friendly. Highly recommended

An absolute gem. In a very pretty and private setting. Fantastic home-made cakes and light meals. I even had a great choice of Gluten free options. The owner and all the staff are lovely and welcoming, helpful and friendly.

Had a lovely lunch with a group of colleagues - there were 9 of us and the staff managed perfectly. The team were very friendly and accommodating. The venue was beautiful - a magnificent conservatory! The food was amazing! The chips were especially great and the cakes were lovely too. Will definitely go back!

My friend and I called in today for a cuppa but ended up with lunch egg and chips and a lovely cup of tea. Staff were lovely, very friendly. Wish we lived here so we could call in more often my friend and I would love to make a book about all the coffee shops we go into. This would definitely be at the top of our list. We will be coming back to Maryport again and will make a point of calling in for a cuppa.Thank you ladies xxxx
