Lovely family meal. We had sharing plates for starters. All excellent. Lasagne and the monkfish for mains. Also very good. Prices were reasonable so represented great value.
If you're wanting Italian in Cockermouth then this is the place. Tbe pizza is fresh and think based and the fat chips are awesome.
Went last weekend, a week after I had been to an upmarket Italian restaurant in Knightsbridge. The whole experience was twice as good, for half the price. Food was banging, and the atmosphere felt lively without being too loud. Good restaurant, I would, definitely recommend this place.

We've eaten there twice now. The restaurant is nothing flashy or pretentious, but the service is very good and the food is outstanding. Strongly recommend checking out the specials board where I've had the lobster and the steak medallions when I have visited. We'll definitely be going again
