I’m seldom inspired to review cafes but the food here is worthy of the effort. I had what must be the perfect fruit scone; light, fluffy, sweet, with the right amount of crispness around the edges, served with delicious tangy raspberry jam. Even the tea was an exquisite blend with a delicate floral tang. We chose this cafe because they were dog friendly and I’m very glad that we did!

We had a lovely dinner tonight and we couldn’t agree more with the lady at the other table saying: “Dinner worth waiting for!” Even though we don’t had to wait Highly recommended!!

A great find in Keswick. Awesome coffee and tasty scones and cake. Planning to revisit for breakfast or a delicious looking dish off the specials board.

Delicious lunch in Keswick today. Liked the choice of house salads, especially the new potato and picallili. Excellent service in a very busy café.

On holiday for the week, visited a few times for exceptional coffee and an evening meal with family that was different to what the they would have usually tried, but had everyone smiling at their delicious plates of food. A real treasure in Keswick I'll be sure to revisit when I return.

Having found our favourite Keswick café had closed we were disappointed...but luckily we came across Merienda! Fabulous tasty lunch enjoyed by all the family. Now we have a new favourite and it's better than the last one! Merienda served us delicious, tasty, satisfying food...and we loved it! Highly recommended - do try it if you are in Keswick!

Don't really want to say how good this place is because then everyone else will go! I look forward to my brunch here every time we come to the Lake District - very difficult to decide which one I will have as they are all delicious! Today's Halloumi with roast tomatoes and poached egg was absolutely fantastically complemented by the side of hummus and dukkah - inspired! The staff are fantastic, the food marvellous - just don't pinch my table!

One of the best brunch spots in Cockermouth. We managed to visit three times. Black coffee is on point. Soo many things to eat and choose from. Even when it’s busy, the staff will always try and get you a seat. All experiences with the amazing staff are one of the reasons to visit, nothing is never too much trouble. The brunch food items range from your classics to some unique dishes; all very much recommended. You have to visit this place when you are in the area. Can’t wait to go back!

Loved this great scandi type cafe Serves great food in a good environment at a fair price. The staff are super friendly. I'd definitely call again but the problem in cockermouth is that there are lots of great cafes!

Visited off the cuff with my wife, very pleasantly surprised! I had a burger and chips,.the quality was excellent and it was piping hot. The Mrs had a veggie Hash which she said was great. The coffee was also fantastic,I'm not much of a coffee drinker either. A very good experience!

Breakfast very tasty. As the name suggests somewhere to enjoy a cuppa & light bite. And we did, charming place in Cockermouth.

Really enjoyed our evening meal at Fika. Very high quality, beautifully cooked and seasoned food. Substantial portion sizes too! Had a great chat with the chef who is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he's doing, ensuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Delicious dinner tonight. Have had many lovely lunches here, but dinner was even better. I prebooked 48 hours in advance. chef adapted the menu to be both glutenfree and vegan to meet my specific needs. Even making a special dessert just for me. Fabulous food, superb service and amazing atmosphere. Wonderfully friendly.

Always welcome with my two dogs. I like the seasonal hot chocolate and latte flavours. I had the kids fish gujons - these need to be in an adult sandwich, they were delicious! Also fab that they have a canine menu with chews to settle the dogs. The other customers are always super friendly and chatty too, lovely atmosphere.

Fija is a good option if you want a sandwich or a brunch. Their coffee and smoothies are great and they have a very nice brunch menu. Unfortunately quality comes at a price and you need to be very lucky to find an available table around lunch time.
