This is a superb find tucked away in a corner of Cockermouth. The front entrance is tiny but the restaurant stretches far back. Spacious with friendly professional staff, you get excellent service while also feeling a good degree of privacy.

Really enjoyed the delicious food at Frederick’s, especially their garlic mushrooms and salmon in a lemon and dill butter. It’s a must visit if you are in Cockermouth.

Food was delicious, with a relatively short wait time. The hanging kebab was exceptional! The young waiter with glasses gave us excellent service - will definitely come back here again.

Called in for food the night before a wedding. About 6 or 7 of us. Service and food excellent. They did mess up my burger but was quickly sorted and they offered me a free pint. Would recommend, tastey food and lots of it.
Love the fact they now do a "small plate" rather than "starter" menu.
