The tapas tastes very good. The service was a mixed bag. The atmosphere was lively enough. The price was a little steep. We didn’t try desserts. It was a reasonable experience overall but in spite of the good food, there was something ineffable about the place that wouldn’t draw me back.
First time in the area and sort fell in to this place, quality food, nice size portions, really nice staff
Booked a table for Saturday night when the food festival was on good job we did!!! Every table was full!!! Food was amazing!!! Couldn't fault.a single part of it. Staff couldn't do anything more!!! Dessert was massive and exceptional!!!! Definitely will be returning before the end of our hols!!!
The food is nice. The service is good. But it seems quite expensive for what you get.
Went to Shills last night for my Mams 60th, the service from when we walked in was excellent and the food was absolutely amazing.
Lovely atmosphere. A warm welcome from staff. Delicious food and was well presented. Proving Sharing platters are the new thing.
Great place for lunch or dinner. Delicious fish platter and the other tapas dishes were also good, apart from the croquettes which didn't seem to have much ham in and were very soft.
We visited for lunch on short break to the Lakes, absolutely fantastic food!! We shared the Brie wedges, salt n pepper flat bread chicken & garlic mushrooms. We highly recommend you visit if you love your food 👌🏼
Have been coming here for many years and love the food and atmosphere
The staff are so attentive and friendly
As a gluten free human the menu is amazing too
Thank you
Highly recommend
Second visit with a larger group of people. The food is really delicious, we can't complain about that - highly recommend hhe deep fried Halloumi !
Unfortunately, since we've had larger groups both times, we've had to pre-order our food, and both times we've had things left off of our order (on thi
Really lovely staff and the food was amazing (and very reasonably priced)! Seemed knowledgeable about gluten free options (although the cheap white GF bread was a poor substitute for the meal when looking at the lovely bread others were offered; popping some Schar rolls in the freezer would be a nic
Review from a happy coeliac :-)
Cosy & charming upper floor bistro with fine food and an excellent gluten-free range of bites, mains and desserts.
The Venue - the upstairs bistro area sits above a fine food emporium. One 'feature' wall is a huge blackboard decorated with evidence of foodie flair a
Amazing place! Lovely lunchtime vibe, busy, the staff are just so nice, happy, friendly and chatty. Food was ace. I had the chicken melt panini and my friend Lou had the salt and pepper chicken on a Lebanese style wrap. My daughter just fancied some chips. All the food was fresh to order. Tasted fab
Have been here for lunch and dinner, had sharing platters both times.
Decent food and helpful staff.
Fantastic fish platter (£14) generous portions of fish, washed down with viognier/grenache (£26? bottle). Espresso coffee (£2.30) could have been better otherwise really good. Full and great atmosphere. Good service. Friends tapas looked excellent.
Lovely food, great atmosphere
Had Tapas one evening and purchased handmade chocolates from the deli.
Stylish setting, tasty food, well presented. Prices on the higher side, but still good value for those special occasions.
Great little place for quality food. Had a cooked lunch and both meals were really nice and decently priced.
Fantastic venue, great food and even better staff
Can't recommend highly enough
