I order regularly at Ellistown Chippy and I must say, it was an absolutely phenomenal experience every time! The crown jewel of their menu is undoubtedly the donor kebab, which, in my humble opinion, reigns supreme in the entire area.

Very nice dinner. Had fish, battered small sausage, chips and curry sauce. My only issue was the curry sauce was too runny, and no body. Otherwise hot and delicious. Like the added touch of a slice of lemon on the fish. Very nice.
Been going here for last year brilliant staff very nice clean establishment food is always hot and fresh would highly recommend jay and staff are brilliant always look after you couldn’t ask for more always you ellistown fish bar
Great chip shop the owner j is a great guy when ever I’m working In Leicester I will go for my dinner! Always a warm welcome and the food is excellent fresh and tasty (I recommended the mixed kebab and chips.

One of our favourite local chip shops based on their food. Fish is always nice, not too fishy tasting (if that makes sense!). Great chips.
Staff are really nice too, although we have noticed from reviews that there's been a recent management change. Hopefully this won't affect our future experience
Coming from London I did not expect it to taste so goood! The fish was gorgeous, the service is fantastic. Highly recommend!!!
The past two weeks our office has decided to have a chippy lunch. The guys were very accommodating, they let me message my order in. They gave me the prices and the time to collect. It was excellent service all the way through. The food was hot and delicious. The portion sizes are very generous too.
