Best food in the area. Fantastic carvery. Limited variety of veg but all the better for it. Great welcome and attentive staff. Have settled here after trying others and being disappointed not so here. We have a party of around 20 every year and never had a complaint. Highly recommended 👌 👍
A fairly decent Sunday lunch. They had a good selection of roasts served carvery style. You help yourself to a good selection of veggies. Reasonable selection of puds. The only spoiler for us was the price of soft drinks. £3.60 for a pint of coke was rather excessive!
Visited the pub tonight to celebrate my friends birthday. The staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent. The carvery looked delicious, menu and special board available. The food and presentation was of a high standard in taste and presentation. The staff were attentive and bought the cake
1st June 2022 Visited many times in the past before covid pandemic. Came for lunch with Mum today for the first time since new management took over. No carvery & smaller menu than previously, but still a decent variety of options available. Ordered drinks & 2 burger meals. Food arrived promptly to t
Super Sunday roast at a reasonable price. A lovely family atmosphere, owner is so good with the children. My daughter even got a gluten free yorkshire which she was thrilled with. This is a great place to eat. Would recommend booking though.
Excellent food. A very cosy pub. I very tasty lite bite lasagne, delicious
Loved It! Great Food, Great Value, Lovely atmosphere. Was a super treat to go to a proper pub with friends for a traditional Sunday carvery, few glasses of vino & a good old natter.. .. Will definitely be going back
Great food & service from Wendy & co! We enjoyed a lovely lunch sat outside in the sheltered seating area with the dog. Service was quick and the food was delicious and good value for money. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
This pub is a must go and try! Lovely atmosphere, good beer, really great food, and last but not least fantastic owners and staff. The Sunday Roast carvary is always brilliant and tremendous value for money!
Fantastic location. Excellent Sunday lunch. Great value for money. Will certainly be visiting again.
Had Sunday lunch. Brill could not fault. Starters fab carvery choice of 4 meats veg cooked non of this aldente rubbish. I did book glad I did. Not worth time and effort cooking at home. Good value too what's not to like recommend
Looking for somewhere different from Loughborough and chose this pub for Sunday lunch. Not the biggest place but the food and service was excellent. Carvery and choice just the right balance instead of too many items going dry. Definitely worth a visit and a nice change.
Great rump steak takeaway tea for us. 10 out of 10. All the trimmings with genuine home cooked chips. For £11 .Take your own plate,Wendy will take it from you, plate up and cover in cling film. Piping hot when we got home. Will definately do this again
Excellent food and service. Staff are friendly and helpful. The carvery is great value for money and delicious. I recommend this place very highly. Booking recommended at the weekend!
A really friendly Pub and Restaurant. Excellent staff and food. We were made welcome from the minute we walked in the door. Resonable prices too. If we are ever in the area again, this is the place where we would go to eat and drink! Would highly recommend.
The food is always excellent with an extensive menu, daily specials, themed nights and a Carvery on certain days. Home cooked food at an excellent price and very friendly staff. We love it.
