This was a great little pub out in the country that had an amazing Sunday Brunch selection. I had the vegetarian wellington while others had the trio or beef options for the brunch and all were delicious. Fresh and hot and very generous portions. The sharing veg was also really good and prepared well (simple steam of squash, green beans, cabbage, and peas).
Cheesecake desert was rich and decadent and tasted very much like s'mores.
Staff was incredibly polite and attentive and prices were very reasonable.
Overall a delightful experience I would recommend to anyone in the area.
Brilliant pub restaurant. We popped in on a Friday lunchtime, originally just for a drink (and the place was full, which spoke volume).. However, the smell of the food and the menu left is no choice but to order, and glad we did. Excellent quality food. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good choice of real ales. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Not often you see a pub so busy on a Friday lunchtime, recommend booking ahead.
First time visit and must say the Sunday roast was superb! Excellent value and plenty of vegetables. Great choice of desserts and drinks on offer
Really impressed with service and food here. I have previously been once before and the food was excellent then, so I decided to book a table for my birthday meal this weekend. We were a very big group and staff accommodated us very well, all of the food came out together and everyone was impressed with the quality of the food. Highly recommend, and will definitely be back!
We discovered this gem of a pub when camping nearby. We received great service and were made very welcome.
As we had already eaten dinner, we enquired about just ordering a pudding each. "Absolutely you can" was the reply.
Great selection of beers and ciders on offer too. We will be back.

My partner and I had a wonderful Sunday roast. Both of us had beef. It was lovely. We have been before and highly recommend it. The staff are friendly professional and knowledgeable. The fox is inviting and has a great atmosphere. Lots of different ales to try and there are always up and coming events on the board. There's plenty of space outside to enjoy the sun.

What a good find this place was. After a long day it was good place to refresh and made even better by the really welcoming and friendly team serving the drinks and food. Definitely would recommend this place. Food was very nice.
2nd visit here. What a superb pub! Food is truly excellent! The staff are so genuinely friendly and polite. The beer selection is great as is their special gins! Shame we live 2hrs away! We will return soon. This pub is worth making the effort to drive to, highly recommend! ππ
Lovely place great food staff were very helpful polite. Nice lovely country pub . The chips was to die for proper chips. They have games you can use there. Great for group family or that nice date you want take someone to. π Does get busy so if your thinking going here book table . For few hours slot . Book After 7pm there no slots so table as long as you want. I don't know about day time you have to ask . We went as group and everyone was happy with there meal . Expect to pay a little more than normal. But definitely worth it . Soft drinks was reasonable for pint coke Β£3.50. Thanks for the warm welcome and all your help that evening. π
Really friendly pub with a local feel. Great staff, attentive and kind. Lovely food, plenty of choice for a veggie too. What a fantastic find. Highly recommended. We will definitely return.
