Total gem. Got here Friday afternoon and it was a warm welcome and the sort of place you can chill and read a paper while enjoying a pint. Went for a lovely walk and came back for dinner. Now it’s a bustling local with a great crowd. Dinner was wonderful. So well cooked and felt looked after. Room was amazing. Spacious and a welcome change to the usual sterile rooms you get from the big chains. Breakfast was also awesome. Went out to the Black Mountains for the day and back for dinner. Again great food and a surprisingly good wine list. Like I say, this place is a hidden gem and I will definitely be using this as a base again for a weekend visit of the stunning Welsh countryside. Can’t recommend enough.

Fantastic food in a lovely Pub! 7 of us went and every meal and bowl of Tapas served was Excellent. I had my first ever Goat Curry and it was simply perfection! Wonderfully spiced without being spicy with supebly tender and flavourful meat. I will be going again. Thank you!

Simply outstanding service. We arrived at the wrong time and the staff tried everything to get us a table. Even Buster the dog relaxed and enjoyed the food

Lovely beer garden friendly staff. Enjoyed the fish and chips and home made tartare sauce. Be mindful that last orders for food during the afternoon is 14 15. Great little stop off on the way to chain bridge inn.

We live near by and we've been quite a few times for evening meals. My favourite meal is the belly pork, and it's melt in the mouth and cooked to perfection. Great service, lovely clean environment. Highly recommended.

Our view from our motorhome and what a treat it was. Very dog friendly, the food looked great, we never ate but had some lovely drinks. A couple that we chatted to in the bar were staying, and the room they had was great. Highly recommended

Lunch with the Taff Mog Morgan car club. Plenty of parking, although our 10 Morgans did take up a lot of space. Excellent menu choices, delicious food served hot and with a smile. A spacious dining room easily met the needs of our group of 19 hungry travellers. We all had a great time. Such a picturesque place.

Very welcoming staff and locals. A great place for the dogs with plenty of land around for them to run. Food was really good and surpassed expectations. I would certainly return to try the rest of there menu. Best of all, there was a roaring log fire burning as we arrived.

Top pub that allows overnight parking in a motorhome/camper. Large car park that fills quickly, you need to book ahead. The pub is friendly and charming, just like the staff. The food is wonderful, a large choice of real gastro food at pub prices. Dogs are welcome.

The Clytha is our preferred place to drink, eat, meet up with likeminded friends. The food is always amazing, and such value for money....we can take our dog......usually chat to other patrons. Most comfortable, relaxed place to be.
