Worth the journey!. We travel to eat at the Fish Shed and it is well worth the journey. The food is delicious, the scenery is lovely, and the staff are very friendly. Would definitely recommend!
So much more than a farm shop!
Came to Devon for a holiday and this was our first stop, before heading to the accommodation.
Had a brioche gelato bun, with strawberry gelato, dark chocolate syrup π ( i ordered cherry π syrup) covered in honeycomb pieces.
If I'm honest I wasn't all that impressed with the cow & cocoa cafe.
The farm shop is amazing, they have everything you could want, from freshly squashed orange π juice, ( you can squeeze yourself and I did), home made bread, pies, quiches, cheeses, black pudding, meat, crisps, fruit, veg, tea, coffee and a section with a huge selection of wines, beers and ciders from Devon, along with the big name spirits.
As well as having the farm shop, they have a fish restaurant, a snack bar and a bar serving pizzas and flat breads.
A spa, a home store and a clothes shop, are also included in this venue.
Definitely worth a visit.
An introduction to Churchills port with pared dishes. Very informative, well thought out menu. Delicious food.
Delicious breakfast cooked from local produce. The service was polite and fast. From fresh juices to delicious eggs and sausages.
Slightly pricey, but you are know you are paying for top quality local product.
Very nice breakfast with local products and good variety of food and cakes.
The staff very welcoming , and service very quick. We had our order in our table in less than 10β !!
A bit expensive but Recommended!
To start there was a wait because it was so busy but thats only because this place has such incredible food! I had the classic breakfast and they were happy to substitute the given items which was incredibly helpful. Really friendly wait staff too. We then had the triple chocolate cake for dessert which was epic. 100% would come here again.
Went in on a Sunday about 2.40. Hot food stops at 3.00 on a Sunday. I had a chicken and bacon club sandwhich, which was really lovely and the strawberry milkshake was amazing. Service was excellent, and staff friendly and helpful.
Expensive but expected of a high end place like this. Delicious salad came with my bacon sandwich which was odd, but it tasted good! Didn't fill me up as much as I'd hoped though, and could have eaten too but was too worried to order again and feel a pig in such a classy place πππ
Cinnamon bun with a latte was good. Kids enjoyed the ice-cream. Queue to get in but the service was fast.
Really lovely shop, cafe and restaurant it's just a shame it's not dog friendly. It meant we couldn't stay here longer. It seems a little odd considering the ethos of the establishment.
Could spend a long time here, and spend a good bit too. Visited a few times now, and always go in the restaurant. Never disappointed. Lots of lovely things, and a great place to shop for gifts.
As always exceptional food and service, only 4 stars because we did get granary bread when we asked for white, but we ate it anyway and is probably healthier hehe. There is such a great selection of locally produced food on the menu and available in their shop.
