We were inspired to come here after seeing their head chef Charlotte on "Great British Menu" as her food looked lovely. The inn is cosy inside but you can also eat in their lovely garden, with beautiful views of open countryside. To get here you have to drive through several very narrow & windy coun
Dog friendly pub. Great little place that we stop for dinner on our way down to st iv. Food were great using the local ingredients and support the community, the staff are excellent. Recommended if you have a dog as their garden are also pretty big.

Spacious and comfortable and great food with a simple, uncomplicated menu 😋 all in a beautiful old cottage. Also the staff were very polite and efficient.
Great food and good service. Had a lovely meal with the wife, the starter was outstanding with loads of flavour. The atmosphere was good with plenty of ppl but not so busy you couldn't relax.
Really nice decent food service was great just a shame one dish came out cold but will definitely be going back if I can
What a very good experience... Lovely country pub, great staff and the food was excellent, scotch duck egg with sweet and sour picalilly .. beautiful, Hake with a rapeseed pomme puree... Excellent and to finish apple choux. Definitely be going back even if it is a bit off the beaten track 👏👏👏
We had the most amazing dinner and evening at The Five Bells. Loved the beautiful food and the wonderful wine. James and Charlie couldn’t have been better hosts, and their staff are great too!!! Recommend highly.
Lovely atmosphere in this country pub. They got a new chef 6 weeks ago and the food was fantastic. Celeriac starter had delicious flavours. Called into the five bells on a Tuesday night thought I'd give it a try used to go there about 10 years ago . walked through the door greeted by a very pleasant young man and young lady they were both very polite I had half a ale at the bar went through both menus the special and the bar menu decide
Absolutely lovely gastro pub serving lovely beverages and excellent food. Great staff and service and accommodating. A lovely menu with an additional specials menu. Highly recommended. Enjoy. We did...and we'll be back.
Had a meal here today with family plus our 2 dogs, we all found something lovely from the menu and the food was great. All staff were friendly, priced good to. They managed to fit us in last minute. Dogs got given a treat there too. My Satnav needs updating... nuff said need to go back again soon...
The food is consistently fantastic and the team are so friendly. Would recommend to anyone. We're very lucky to have this place on our doorstep.

Superb Sunday lunch Had a fantastic Sunday roast with my family at the five bells. The duck scotch egg starter was a particular highlight for me and the roast pork was amazing. Highly recommend and we will certainly be back
Excellent and sophisticated food. Polite and helpful staff. really enjoyed the farm cider that comes from a nearby organic farm (Ventons). Would come back
