We had the Lady’s Tea and the Devon Tea, both really nice and very welcome walking back from the harbour of this beautiful village. Very friendly service - recommended.
Devon dressed crab with homemade coleslaw and warm roll is absolutely delicious 🤤. The view from The Secret Garden is stunning. What else can you ask for?
I had the savoury cream tea and the scones were some of best I've ever had - they were warm and really light and fluffy. The Bill's Special has to be tried! A lovely place to eat
Lovely Fishermans salads. Great views over to Saunton Sands. Friendly service at a great location.
We stopped here on our way back to the top of Clovelly and managed to get a table outside.
We had the Devon Cream Tea for 2 (also purchased a dog biscuit for Oscar our dog).
The food came out quickly and the staff were friendly. The cafe was really busy.
It was lovely day outside looking out to sea while enjoying our scones.
If we are back in the area we will try to visit again.
I love this spot for cream tea. Jam and cream was great, as was the scone and the tea. Looking down at the pier in the sun was bliss and was just what I wanted after going down to the pier and walking back up.
My only issue was the amount of wasps that were around which really annoyed me but that's not the company's fault. If I was a wasp, I would want cream and jam too.
Every time we visit Clovelly, we insist on having lunch at this quaint tearoom. Freshly made, locally sourced produce. Excellent fresh prawn, crab and mackerel meals and baguettes. Gluten free and Kid's sandwich options too. Only downside during peak season, seating can be a problem as its only a small cottage tearoom.
Absolutely amazing, the bills doughnut with clotted cream was absolutely to die for. The young lad at the counter was lovely and so polite. The only place I’ve ever been that actually serves you cream with your tea with a proper china cup and pot! Staff were fantastic, if you’re going, try the bills doughnut, couldn’t beat it, made our day!
A delicious, friendly little place. We had a lovely "Lord's tea", yummy scones and cake and it was delicious.
We had a warm welcome, and the team of the staff went really above and beyond when we had a bit of a family emergency. Thank you for your complete kindness. True kindness and truly caring. Thank you.
Dog friendly too with a refillable dog water bowl with fresh water.
Definitely recommend. There aren't enough places like this any more.
We absolutely LOVED our lunch here- we chose the Lords and Gentlemens options. Everything was such good quality, even the bread on the crab sandwich- sounds silly, but when you have such a captive audience, sometimes one expects poorer standards but everything was so delicious. We were very happy to wipe our own table, as the young chap serving tables was flat out- but still absolutely lovely and courteous. Although busy, we didn't feel like the staff we harassed and made us feel special. The view was phenomenal. Thank you so much.
Great food and service with a lovely view (see pic). During a 5 day stay in the South West this was my favourite cream tea. Gorgeous.
Beautiful place. The food was very delicious and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly. Vievs from the garden was spectacular.
Great prawn baguette, and an amazing view whilst you enjoy lunch with a cuppa. Thank you
Absolutely cracking Gromit! Great view from the terrace with good tea and a soft scone. Perfection. Jam first, no wait cream first...
Ready for a sit down and revived with excellent coffee and cake. Amazing views and saw the porpoises in the sea near the harbour - fab!
