Very nice food and good service. The enthusiastic comments on the decor in other reviews seem somewhat excitable. Admittedly the furnishings are a bit more lavish than the norm but have been installed in a room with little more ambience than a (private) dentist's waiting room. We'd go back for the food though.
We went here for our anniversary and we really enjoyed it.
Hard to find really good Thai food outside of Manchester and the Kings crew nailed it.
We went for the set veggie menu (£25 per head) started with a great mixed of lightly battered veg and tofu. Followed by 2 curries and stir fry veg with two big portions of jasmine rice.
We followed it up with a banana fritter (not included in set menu)
Decent price beers and cocktails as well. Really did it justice and we'll be going back!
Make sure to ring in advance, it was getting busy after 19:30 on a Friday.
Great place, always an amazing dish served. Staff are very friendly including the chef!!
Note... the drinks are paid separately at the bar and the food is through the servers.
Our first visit to Kings, it's a pleasant comfortable restaurant with lovely, efficient staff. All eight of us enjoyed our food, my husband thought his deep fried duck dish was delicious. Would be happy to visit again.

Good food, a little pricey but worth it. Looked good. The white leather of the seats could do with a bit of a clean. Red wine was good. Service was ok. New guy serving us was a bit raw but I am sure they will improve.

The most beautiful bar to eat, drink and meet friends.
The building is pure luxury inside and out with beautiful lighting and table and chairs and all laid out with plenty of space too. There is no pressure to order quickly and you can sit where you want when it's quiet too, the food is amazing and freshly cooked and honestly tastes like no other place. The pizzas are so huge and again taste amazing with so much topping.
They do the most amazing cocktails of all shapes sizes and colours!
The most amazing thing of all is the price, it's so reasonable that everyone can afford to go. I honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough.
What a fabulous experience. Found out the old pub had reopened with a cocktail bar & a Thai restaurant. We booked in at the restaurant and had one of the set menus which was fabulous. Excellent staff, very attentive and helpful. A great evening which we will repeat as soon as possible! 👍
Ordered a takeaway on Saturday 19/8 as we were staying at the nearby Edisford Bridge campsite with our dog.... Was told it would be 40 minutes & when I turned up it was ready bang on time with added bonus of a 10% discount. Excellent food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks again 👍👏

Fantastic Thai restaurant. I've been to a fair few in this past, and Kings are up there. Treated very well by the staff, and our food was above expectations. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.
Wow, what a fabulous place! Great staff, wonderful food and lovely atmosphere, we had a fabulous afternoon on 11th December and will be back soon. The food was absolutely delicious! Thank you to the staff who couldn't do enough for us. :-)
Absolutely incredible Thai food. None better anywhere in my opinion. The staff are so accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. Amazing bar lady who knows her stuff when it comes to serving drinks and cocktails. Very fast service throughout

An excellent experience! Anyone who expects to eat well here will ! No expense has been spared on the furnishings. The ambience is thoughtful. The service personal and authentically Thai . The food was Devine . Cooked authentically with love you could taste that and presented beautifully. I have lived here a short while and this restaurant was definitely needed in our area I truly wish them the best of luck and I hope the local people appreciate and come and enjoy too !!
