Secret Garden Cafe just next to the marke.... a lovely addition to the Clitheroe cafe scene. Friendly staff always make you feel welcome. You dont have to be vegetarian or vegan as there is a wide selection of dishes on the menu, reasonably priced as well! You can access the cafe through the wool shop but there is also an entrance just round the corner through patio doors. Plenty of space to accommodate a wheelchair or pram. By the way, during the warmer months there is a lovely suntrap outside seating area

Found this little gem of a vegetarian/vegan cafe by accident yesterday while visiting the market. We had the most amazing veg quiche with salad and a Chia Latte with Almond milk. It was probably the best quiche I've ever had....and the brilliant bonus of being able to sit out in the gorgeous sunshine in the garden.

Visited for lunch after a dentist appointment and ordered mushroom & potato pie and tomato & basil soup. Everything as far as possible is made on site and chef Louis really knows how to make pastry, it was so light and crisp and the pie filling was gorgeous especially with the gravy, the soup also homemade was fabulous. Good sized portions, friendly staff and a lovely walled garden for sitting out, if the weather is nice. Love Secret Garden and hope to visit more in the future.

An excellent addition to the town, with friendly staff trying very hard to give good service with a smile. Whilst there is a health food section (much needed in the town) and a wool section, this review is about the primarily veggie/health food cafe. The range of food is developing but looks promising - the menu is appetising and reasonably well priced. The food was quickly served and well presented. It’s a nice spot to sit in the sunshine too, if you’re lucky enough to be there on a warm day!

Had a superb vegan afternoon tea here this afternoon, served by a lovely, friendly team. Soup, plenty of assorted sandwiches, crisps, scone with jam, trifle, strawberries and a selection of cakes. It’s the first vegan afternoon tea we’ve had where everything was delicious - nothing felt like a compromise.

Nice, easy to find veg/vegan cafe and shop. Prices fair. Would visit again as not far on the train. Usually have to go miles for vegan places.

This place doesn't shout vegan and vegetarian out loud. So we only found this out after we sat at a table. I am vegan so I felt very lucky. We had broth and dumplings with red cabbage which was fantastic! Lovely friendly staff and a great outdoor space for summertime, (this was November). Can't fault... Won't lunch anywhere else when I go to Clitheroe if its got anything to do with me.

As a carnivore who was looking for a warm place on a cold day, this Cafe was a very pleasant surprise. Had the festive pie with pickled cabbage, mushy peas, and gravy and it was absolutely delicious!

Brilliant value comfort food, healthy and delicious. Meal for two for as little as £10, we spent £22 for 3 drinks, 2 cakes and two hearty meals. Friendly staff. All food vegan or veggie, with fake meat (bacon, mince etc) or just veg options. Good Covid measures in place, app check-in provided, staff wear masks and have screens. Child and breastfeeding friendly, highchair available.
