What a great traditional pub in the centre of Whalley. It looks deceptively small from outside but inside it opens up to numerous rooms with seating, a pool room and a lovely beer garden at the back. My first visit yesterday, don't know how I've missed it but I can highly recommend it. Lovely lady b

Just a great pub, doing everything right - good food, good beers, friendly welcome, no silly prices, but genuinely interested in giving the customer what they need. I will be coming back!
Lovely gin selection! Only had a couple of drinks there so cannot comment on food.
Lovely home cooked food at a reasonable price. I had cheese and onion pie, and it was delicious 😋

Good atmosphere, friendly staff & retains the charm of a proper pub. Good beer too!
Traditional pub with excellent cask ales. Constantly changing list behind the bar often with a Moorhouses beer. Good choice of continental lagers and cider. Good value lunchtime meals. Pool table and beer garden. Beware the sloping floor!
Visited for lunch after 6.5 mile walk in the area on Wednesday 7th Dec. Took a little time to get our meals, but it was a very busy lu
