Brilliant burgers and loaded fries. A “must go” for any beer lovers for the wide and varied selection they have. Great every single time we’ve visited. Great outdoor seating too!

Huge selection of beers across the 42 taps. Beer from their own brewery plus other local brews and craft beers from further afield. When we went there was a promotion and many beers were half price. Two flights only cost £10.50! You can also take beer from the brewery and enjoy with good from the food hall.

Food tastes fantastic and drinks were served quickly. Table service for food was fantastic, Tracey was incredibly kind and patient. Service in the lounge bar next door was not on the same level. One guy was very sharp with one of our group and bar staff seemed very inexperienced.

This is a destination brewery tap and a Clitheroe must visit. Large former mill conversion for an all round experience. Leave your grateful other half in the beer hall with 40+beers and ciders while you browse the food and gift hall next door.

We were recommended to visit by Nettletons jewelers and it didn't disappoint at all We found a close by car parking spot making for an easy walk to the beer hall. We were served quickly and efficiently and on-site brewed lager is to die for! Food order was quickly taken and the food when it arrived was mountainous. No half measures there chef! Old mill atmosphere works well and we'd probably visit again next time we're in Clitheroe.

Great complex in an old mill. Loved the old machinery and steelwork. Had food ot was great, the real ale was lovely. Had a walk round the food Hall which had some really interesting food and drink! I'm going to give it a go and stay here soon to fully appreciate the site!

The food was great and they changed the bun to sourdough upon my dads request with no issues since he isn't a fan of brioche. We noticed another burger used that type. The staff were nice and the interior was so fascinating.

Wow, what a place. Beer heaven with 40-odd pumps in an ex-mill. Bowland beers are so good that it was hard to sample from the extensive range of other beers on tap. Fantastic interior with some original machinery still in situ. Pleasant courtyard out front in the Holmes Mill complex. Ate here twice and enjoyed Asian chicken thighs, salt and pepper fries and lots of other things. Service good. Outside you can also order from the deli cafe next door.

The beer hall is steeped in great cotton history. They have done a fantastic job in keeping its history. The beer we had unfortunately wasn't up to a good standard but will revisiting soon to try more

This place was incredible to see and experience. Way way to busy but I guess that shows you how popular and good it is. Service was ok, the staff were very friendly but I feel struggled a little with our large group. (Probably because they were hosting a wedding at the same time!!!) There are several rooms that you can sit in, I feel the boiler room is maybe the best! I'm told it's the largest bar in Europe but I did not feel like it was anything special.

Pub classics and craft (ish) beers. I had a lot of fun here. If you are looking for somewhere to get a quick bite and experience some local beer, then Bowlsnd in Clitheroe is a food place to start. Lots of Vegetarian options, but was quite greasy - which is not a bad thing.

This is such a lovely place to have a drink but, sadley, the food isn't the best. The Caeser salad came with Anchovies; I have never know a C. salad come with anchovies. The staff were nice enough to change it without hesitation but even then the new salad was not the best. We both had Philly Steak burger. The steak was lovely but it was smoothered in a liquid cheese, that wasn't the nicest and it made the bun so soggy it was inedible. So a lovely setting, lovely staff but food leaves alot to be desired.

I really enjoyed my experience and found that the atmosphere, staff and food where a really high standard. The only reason I have knocked off a star is the limited choice for vegetarians/vegans- other than that I look forward to visiting again!
