We had a great meal last night with family, I’m a fussy vegetarian and my bespoke salad was superb, very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their food and all delivered by a friendly team.
First rate customer service too and good banter from the restaurant manager

Went for a 40th birthday meal with family. Had the Alice room booked so a bit out of the way of the rest of the venue, hence only 4 stars for atmosphere as not really sure what it was like in the main area, but it did look nice and vibrant. Food was absolutely delicious, all 3 courses were very good indeed. The waitresses serving us were all lovely and kept coming back for drinks orders etc. Would highly recommend this for a nice pub meal.
Even though we may have been walkins by the greeter, we understand why you should book first. What a busy place, and no wonder, given the excellent service and quality of the food ordered.
A nice selection of drinks to choose from and the staff showed great patience and understanding whilst we were there. Costs seemed moderate to us but we'll worth it. We will inevitably return.
Food was delicious and they were happy to make little amendments to orders without any fuss.
Service staff were polite, but did have to be reminded to bring drinks and the sound of plates and cutlery being dropped when clearing tables happened a little too often.
The sound of the Chef shouting out orders was off putting at first, but we slowly got used to it.
The bench seating was comfortable, but the single chairs were far too large to be placed next to eachother at the table. All in all, it was a nice re-design, The food was excellent and the prices reflected the quality. We would definitely return.
Didn’t have food, big guy behind the bar is down to earth and generally really nice. Can’t remember his name but he’s the rice cakes guy👍🏽
A very nice place with excellent service from very polite and attentive staff and wonderful food which is worth every penny. Can't wait to go again
It's quite smart really and I wasn't sure whether or not I'd feel uncomfortable with that but to be fair once I'd sat down, got my pint and had my order taken I felt quite relaxed. We sat out because it was a fine day but the road nearby was a bit intrusive. Shame they didn't design things so the outdoor area was behind a hedge or something. It's quite new and generally oozes well offness. Prices reflected that and at the same time the service and food were excellent. I wouldn't clamour to return but if someone said where sells good food and has plenty of room I'd say here
Great pub/ restaurant, lovely atmosphere, good service lots of choice to sit and enjoy our food. Would visit again.
Food was absolutely spot on really enjoyed it. The kitchen is visible from some areas and you can hear orders being called in and out very well organised. Service was good and the place is spotless.
We only called in for a drink to meet up with friends for a 60th birthday. But the service we got was great but we had a reservation at the Foxfields so unfortunately we didn't stay for food .But that will soon be rectified as we all said that we will be back soon as the ambiance of the surroundings was appealing to us all .The staff were great very attentive and the service was good .So yes we will be back soon .
