Went for a 40th birthday meal with family. Had the Alice room booked so a bit out of the way of the rest of the venue, hence only 4 stars for atmosphere as not really sure what it was like in the main area, but it did look nice and vibrant. Food was absolutely delicious, all 3 courses were very good
Even though we may have been walkins by the greeter, we understand why you should book first. What a busy place, and no wonder, given the excellent service and quality of the food ordered.
A nice selection of drinks to choose from and the staff showed great patience and understanding whilst we were
Food was delicious and they were happy to make little amendments to orders without any fuss.
Service staff were polite, but did have to be reminded to bring drinks and the sound of plates and cutlery being dropped when clearing tables happened a little too often.

It's quite smart really and I wasn't sure whether or not I'd feel uncomfortable with that but to be fair once I'd sat down, got my pint and had my order taken I felt quite relaxed. Food was absolutely spot on really enjoyed it. The kitchen is visible from some areas and you can hear orders being called in and out very well organised. Service was good and the place is spotless.
We only called in for a drink to meet up with friends for a 60th birthday. But the service we got was great but we had a reservation at the Foxfields so unfortunately we didn't stay for food .But that will soon be rectified as we all said that we will be back soon as the ambiance of the surroundings
Excellent Sunday lunch. Efficient service. Just one issue with a specialty coffee, however soon rectified.
