We booked The Shireburn Arms Hotel over 12mths ago to hold the entirety of our Wedding day on 27th Jan (Friday just gone). From the moment we walked through the doors we were greeting with a warm welcome, with its vintage style decor, it's log fires and breathtaking views I knew that it was the perfect venue. Wedding coordinator, Cora was amazing, from the moment we booked the Shireburn she was attentive, keeping in touch over the months via email ( my choice) sending reminders, offering advise and being a massive support for us. Myself and my mum and bridesmaids stayed the night prior to the wedding and again, though Cora wasn't on duty, the staff took perfect care of us especially Rebecca and our waiter/ bar man ( I'm sorry can't remember your name!) who endured our dry sense of humour with a humour of his own!! On the actual wedding day a dressing room was made available along with our rooms as soon as they were ready including the bridal suite ( complementary within the wedding package). The whole venue area was decorated beautifully. The wedding breakfast meal was to die for, each course was mouthwatering, impeccably timed and the waiting on staff were friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble to them. The maitre-de was friendly, put us at ease and was on hand throughout for any queries. As the day progressed the venue rooms were rearranged seamlessly and the evening reception was fantastic, run by the in house dj who was both friendly, speaking to all our guests, asking about there choices in music, to endulging our bridesmaids with frozen "let it go!" When the evening had drawn to a close we retired to our bridal suite with spectacular views over the ribble valley. The room was lovely and warm, beautifully decorated with a double shower ensuite and a large bath tin in the actual room with a picture window overlooking the hills. Overall the service we received was impeccable and the owners of the Shireburn should be extremely proud of their staff and I would not hesitate to recommend either for a meal, meal but most definitely a wedding. Just had our sons wedding here it's a wonderful place for a wedding . The staff were amazing they made us all feel important and valued .The food was fantastic and the four poster bed was so comfy . Would definitely recommend this place .

Scott and I celebrated our wedding on the 29th December and despite the weather the day couldn’t have been anymore fabulous. I fell in love with The Shireburn on my first visit, with its quaint decor in each room, log fires and the views from the ceremony/ reception room are spectacular. The staff were very helpful and answered all our questions as we only had a small guest list. They provided a full tour of the venue allowing us to see the majority of the bedrooms, to ensure we had the appropriate room set up for family and friends. Robyn, our final wedding coordinator was amazing and kept us up to date with plannings and timings etc. and adapted menu choices to suit dietary requirements without hesitation. On the day from start to finish everything was perfect. Robyn and the team were more than helpful with a few weather related issues and room allocations. The food was delicious presented to us by the staff in the most efficient manner. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Mark and Didier kept timings to plan across the day and evening. The venue looked fantastic, made all the more impressive with their Christmas decorations. Breakfast the morning after was heavenly with plenty of juice, tea and coffee to keep us going after a long, but wonderful day. We will be back to celebrate our anniversary � and any other occasion to enjoy the lovely atmosphere and food.

A beautiful day was had by all at my best friends wedding at the Shireburn. Beautiful place and surroundings fantastic food and service. All the staff are lovely!!

A 5 star experience for me! The Shireburn has a lovely relaxed feeling from stepping over the threshold. Comfortable, clean and well run with good food, good bar and friendly, hard working, yet unobtrusive, staff. What’s not to like?

Where to begin... I had my fairy-tale wedding at The Shireburn Arms on the 23.06.2018 and I couldn't fault a thing. The whole process was made stress free thanks to the wonderful staff, wedding co-coordinator and on the day by our master of ceremony. They are all true professionals and help with any query you have. The location is breathtaking, the food was incredible and the ambience was very relaxed and enjoyable to all. The facilities from the games room, to the gardens, to the rustic (yet modern) bedrooms added to a truly spectacular day. I couldn't be more thankful and am so glad I chose to get married here.
