We had a late lunch yesterday homemade soup to start with chunky homemade and butter delicious. Then the pork steak with blue cheese on top. The salmon with prawns fresh veg and the Bashall Burger with a mazing onion rings. It was really good. I would recommend the place.
Loved the festive afternoon tea. Good mix of savouries including pate, quiche and miniature Yorkshire puddings. Then scones, Christmas cake and lemon cake. Reserved a table by the window so we could watch the goats. All lovely.
We called in for a late lunch, there was a good choice including roast beef sandwich which we had with sweet chutney and twice cooked chips. Dog was allowed in, there's a farm shop with a good choice of products. Toilets were exceptionally clean. Cakes and ice cream looked good, but we didn't indulge. Large car park. We used the post code in our sat nav and it was slightly out so keep an eye open.
It's just a lovely space filled with a beautiful bar and quality tables & chairs. Lovely decor. Service is spot on and the food is delicious. So many unusual things to buy as well - deli gifts or take home to eat. If you need a cheer up or have visiting friends this is an ideal lunch/ brunch/ coffee spot out.
Fantastic farm shop and restaurant in a beautiful picturesque setting. Well worth a visit.
Went to friends wedding night party .. lovely venue ! Clean classy and very trendy.. great staff from bar to kitchen .. friendly obliging and professional .. food awesome I had to go back for seconds !! Highly recommended

Always a lovely visit! So beautiful as you drive up. The improvements are excellent. I brought my little 2 year old friend who asked why the cows did not eat ice cream! If you are struggling to choose between ice cream and cake........have ginger cake ice cream �
Such a great place, fab breakfast choice, lovely warm friendly staff great product and the meat and potato pie was to die for!
As a wedding guest, I highly recommend this venue. It is certainly worth attending one of their Open Day events to see the fantastic views which make a superb backdrop to a joyous occasion. All went smoothly, the food was delicious and the staff ensured great attention to detail to give everyone a memorable day. Couples choose their own photographer and florist. This personal input makes every wedding unique.

My husband and I got married at Bashall Barn in November 2022, and it was the most perfect day.
Bashall was the first venue we looked at and I instantly fell in love. My husband wanted to look at a few more places first, and after looking at a handful more he agreed that none of them even came close to being as lovely as Bashall.
As the owner of an events company I can be quite hard to please and have really high expectations, but the team here did an amazing job, and surpassed all of them.
My bridesmaids and I had the loveliest night before the wedding in the suites, drinking prosecco and getting excited for the day ahead. The morning was a dream, we woke up to stunning views and everything was just so chilled. That was in large part to Alice Rose Bridal Hair and LouMac Makeup, as they both did a fantastic job of getting all 9 of us ready, with no stress. If you have having a wedding at Bashall I highly recommend them both! The setup team at Bashall were so lovely. They had heard I was having a Harry Potter theme and so they decorated our table for breakfast in a Harry Potter style and even made me a broom out of leaves, which was so thoughtful I could have cried! I went over every detail with them in the morning of how I wanted the room to look and they nailed it, it was exactly my vision.
The day itself ran like clockwork (apart from the grooms party being fashionably late, but that was no fault of the venues!), and that was all down to our wedding coordinator Flo. Flo was fantastic and I cannot thank her enough. She looked out for our needs the whole day, from holding my train for me after my last bridesmaid had gone through, to making sure we had a glass of fizz after the ceremony, and that canapes were put aside for us.
All of our guests have commented on what a great, stunning venue it was, and how lovely the food was.
I could go on and on, but all I have to say is if you are thinking of booking Bashall then just go ahead and do it! You will not regret it. They go above and beyond to help you make any wacky idea you have happen - we even had a rodeo bull setup by the bar!

The staff were amazing. The food was outstanding. And the surrounding area for photographs is just stunning.
My daughter and son-in-law held their wedding here last weekend. Staff were Lovley, friendly and helpful. A luxurious venue for a fantastic wedding. Food was absolutely superb. Sorry no photos - I was too busy enjoying all the special moments.
Really interesting wedding venue. The place had lots of moving partition walls so that by the evening the guests had plenty of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy and a huge central bar, large pizza oven and counter top where supper was served, and breakfast the next morning. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean and tidy. From what I saw of the guest rooms the ensuites were spacious and the beds looked comfortable. Definitely worth checking out if you are planning a wedding. The location is a little remote but that means beautiful countryside views and peace all around. There is an outside ceremony area but due to bad weather the wedding we attended was held indoors.
My band and I @priceofmypig played a lovely ceilidh here on Saturday. Very organised and efficient staff with great facilities.

We attended a gorgeous family wedding here. With the sun shining down over the picturesque fields, the bride and groom looked like something out of a fairytale. The food, bar, space, pizza oven and staff were perfect for such a perfect day.
Beautiful venue and well worth the 3hr trip! Loved the hidden away areas that open up as the day went along and the veiws are to die for, made me miss my Northern home! Fab parking too!
