This is one of our favourite places to drop into for coffee, tea or lunch. The coffee is roasted on the premises and the aroma as you walk into the shop is so wonderful. The selection of various coffees is vast and there is a wide variety of gorgeous teas, including the Queen's favourite!
They have a large selection of tea and coffee paraphernalia with some interesting items. There are three floors here furnished with and interesting mixture of traditional furniture including a 17th Century oak cupboard on the ground floor. The food is cooked to order in the small kitchen and it's always delicious.
Clitheroe is a great market town which is well worth a visit.
Called in for a spot of lunch whilst visiting Clitheroe for the food festival. I had a trainee Guide Dog with me and they were very accommodating of our party (4 adults, 2 kids and 1 dog) We sat in the attic room which was lovely. Food was lovely and the coffee fab in lovely big mugs/bowls. Definitely one to visit again next time I'm in Clitheroe.
Super little boutique coffee shop. Excellent service, and wonderful aromas
Beautiful coffee today at Todmorden Cappuccino Bar. Great staff showed knowledge and passion for the coffee. Bought beans for Home! We’ll be back
Always enjoy our visits, delicious food and, of course, a wonderful choice of coffees
Great little shop, lovely staff, out of this world smells! Despite being the last in on a Saturday they toasted crumpets to perfection, and laughed with me and a friend as we dithered over buying gifts. Excellent.
Delicious ham broth followed by delectable gluten free chocolate and seville orange cake all accompanied by rich Colombian coffee all served by really lovely staff. Wonderful!!
Love this place and always try to visit when in UK. The top floor has hosted 11 of us Aussies with games for the children and great coffee for the adults. Always made to feel welcome. Will be back later in the year.
Went there today and was pleased to be offered a glass of water whilst breastfeeding. This has never happened in any other cafe I have been in since I had my baby 10 months ago so well done!
Great place visit often . staff , food , coffee . Big Thanks for donation from Richard today to provide the coffee for the fund raiser concert at Keystreet on Sunday 10 th Jan for those affected by the floods .
Stopped for lunch, stew and dumplins was really good, other half had soup and sandwich also good. Service with a smile as usual. Despite having workmen in fixing the raveges of the fire in december
I have paid a visit to this beautiful coffee shop 3 times so far this year while staying with family in Skipton . Look forward to the amazing coffees and cakes you serve . A lovley lady always serves us andcmakes us feel more than welcome
Just felt i had to post to say she does an amazing job with every customer but seems to to overwelmed at times and i voiced such to one of your customers on my rescent visit and thought at times she could need some help and it was pointed out that indeed she had help in the form of a young man who i had seen on my previous visit sitting in the same spot hence thinking he was a customer. This lovley lady was bery busy doing an amazing job but was rushed off her feet and he never moved . I didnt think it was right and thought i would bring this to your attention. Hope you dont mind but i would rather someone inform me if one of my employees was being putup on by another .
Been here a few times when in Clitheroe.
Charming cafe with lots of period features of the old building interior.
Cafe is split over three floors and each floor is cosy
The coffee selection is very good and a variety of beans can be bought. The cafe roasts beans also.
The food menu is ok with decent home cooking. The cakes are also very good
The entrance of the cafe is the shop which has plenty of coffee equipment and paraphernalia on sale as well as interesting confectionery and chocolate
If you're ever in Clitheroe and like coffee this place is a must
Great coffee, delicious homemade slices and a delightful atmosphere! We have been travelling through the UK for two weeks and this was one of the nicest coffees we’ve had by a long shot.
A great coffee shop and café. Plenty of character, not your run of the mill grab and go type of place. Retailer of teas and coffees, and great home made food with friendly service. We have always had good food served with a smile.
Super great atmospheric coffee / tea cafe in centre of Clitheroe - service was fantastic and food and drink brilliant and well worth a visit again alone for that.
The only thing that could be sorted is the cleanliness in the not-so-visible areas like behind sofas - resulting in sticky hands not pleasant! Don't let that put you off however it is fantastic and unique, tea was so good I ended up buying some to take home with me.
Lovely coffee and hot chocolate. A good range of good and drinks. Staff welcoming and helpful. A really good place for coffee and sandwiches.
Absolutely the BEST coffee house in town. Extensive menu of both teas and coffee from around the world. Freshly ground in store and available to purchase to take home. Seating over three floors, all beautifully decorated in Sanderson and William Morris. Lovely food & a nice selection of cakes.
We had a huge full English breakfast on our visit, couldn't fault any of it. Superb!!
Welcoming and great specials for lunch all at very reasonable prices. Plethora of specialty teas and coffees to try and buy. Peaceful on a Wednesday lunchtime but I can imagine it being very busy at weekends.
Just popped in after making a delivery to this coffee shop over a year ago and falling in love with the smells I finnaly made it in whilst in the area for another local shop. The chap who served me was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and helped me navigate the world of proper coffee, made recommendations bassed on my very limited description and helped me to purchase some other items in order to brew the coffee properly. I'm genuinely thrilled with my purchases and the help that was offered. Me and my partner then decided to pop in back to the cafe and have a sandwich and a coffee and once again the staff was patient and knowledgeable helping me decided on what type of coffee to have with my sandwich which was also fantastic! Me and my partner both thoroughly enjoyed out lunch and the cinnamon bun my partner got to take out was fantastic! I will never be buying supermarket coffee again! Thanks so much guys!
Big thanks from the customer who wanted coffee that is the opposite to him "strong and rich".
When in Clitheroe we always call for a coffee. Lovely selection, beautiful home cooked cakes and a nice choice of meals.
Best coffee shop around I've been using them since pre 1995 when I used to go in with my dad. Great coffee all the syrups and other coffe paraphernalia. Best of all glass bottle coke and cakes.
I consumed a lovely gammon and cheese frittata followed by a tasty cup of tea on my visit. Wonderful selection of coffee on offer together with their wonderful aromas added an olfactory dimension to great decor.
this is not part of a chain it is a coffee shop on three floors with lots of steps, good coffee is served as is good food
Great service, fantastic choice of coffees and delicious cakes. Much better than your basic Costas and Cafe Neros.
Clitheroe is filled with so many good places to have a coffee but this is the best by a long way.
Very good coffee with roasting on site, great service and atmospheric 1600s centrepiece local furniture. Plus very good value.
Excellent coffee ☕️ and toasted
tea cake.
Excellent we called in for cakes and coffees great service and prices are fair
The coffee was excellent as was the cakes and I bought some ready ground beans for home 5*
Smells amazing and has such a great selection of different coffee beans, Hazelnut and Vanilla being my fave!
