Nice enough, but missing some atmosphere and a very limited menu if you're a veggie. Decent sized beer garden and dogs welcome. Outside was nice, inside was a bit drab and the staff were ok, but got the impression they didn't enjoy work and weren't overly friendly . We ordered garlic bread and some

This place is great. The food is very good, the staff are really attentive and the beer is kept well too. I had the whitebait to start and it came with a pot of exceptionally strong garlic dip. Wow, nearly blew my head off, I’m not complaining but the wife wasn’t impressed. 😁

Warm friendly and inviting-pies looked especially delicious. Good wine too. Very new team so understandably some teething issues but very determined to get things absolutely right so we will go back. Very easy walk and close to CCC site but take a torch if dark on return.
Have to say Saturday had a great night with the rugby showing followed by a cracking singer. The staff are so friendly and the homemade beef burger was spot on. Will revisit.
