Very nice venue, pleasant, fast service...and very doggy-friendly!!Love that!!With a good aquatic/garden centre opposite!Only let-down,was we had to send the roast back,as it was barely warm+had to ask for our yorkshire puds?Very tasty+well-presented,once this was addressed!!Decent free car park.
Lovely quaint pub, historical fire places, good variety of ale's, located in the beautiful countryside of West Sussex, only a 15 minute walk to the sea!
Just needs a lick of paint here and there and I would give it 5 stars all round. I had the Steak and kidney pie with triple cooked chips and roasted vegetables. Delicious! My wife had one of the vegetarian meals but I cannot remember which. She must have enjoyed it, she left nothing on her plate.
Dropped in here for an early dinner Saturday. Food was good but side dishes were brought out half way through meal as didn't want food going cold. Duck and hoisin pizza could of used some more flavour + hoisin. Eton Mess was delishious! Would visit again to try the burgers I spotted 👀
Lovely lovely lovely sever Sophia. Very attentive, nothing to much trouble for her. Great service, exceptional dinner. We live an hour away, however, well worth the drive.
We had a very good meal here last night. The food was good and so was the service. We have found the food and service a bit hit and miss in the past but they seem to have got it right at long last. My only complaint is there was a table near us with a small dog and one of the party had the dog on th
We decided to drop in to the Oyster Catcher on our way home from an afternoon afternoon shopping. BExcellent service. The waitress Liz is so efficient and pleasant to all her customers. We had Fish and Chips which was the best Chips I have had. We have been a few times and look forward to going back
We like the fact you can bring your dog inside as they're family too. Our host Emma(?) was welcoming and friendly. And explained what was or wasn't available on the menu . She was quick to pick up the fact that it was my husband's birthday and popped a lit candle in his dessert and promted us to sin
Reasonable prices. Staff very welcoming. Quick service . Nice food, nice atmosphere, nicely cooked and presented, good variety of craft beers, dogs welcome, free parking, facilities for disabled customers. Clean toilets. Big garden, would definitely return for more of the same.
Wide selection of food in the menu, options for vegan & vegetarians. Nice atmosphere, clean and spacious. Classic pub food done well. Good if you fancy a Tuesday night out greet and don’t want to cook. 2 mains, 2 sides, 2 desserts, 2 glasses of wine. £60
Beautiful thatched roof building. Lovely well laid out and spacious dining area. Calm, relaxing atmosphere. Service was excellent from our waitress Liz who was very attentive and informative regarding menu.Nothing was too much trouble for this lovely lady. An excellent experience all round.
Nice food, good portion sizes and a nice atmosphere, we sat outside as the weather was lovely.
Lovely atmosphere, very helpful staff. We ordered fish and chips, turkey dinner, beef dinner, and the ribeye steak. I had the fish and chips, and it was a bit disappointing my mushy peas had formed a skin over them, and my fish was dry. But I have to say everything else was perfect. Big portion si
We had a booking for eleven people to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The staff were fantastic! Even though the restaurant was busy, they were attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced. Brilliant place for an evening dinner!
