A nice please to sit when the weather is fine. Views of the viking ship and sea. Food freshly cooked, and good cakes (huge portions)

Lovely place for stopping either food from the viking ship café or picnic. Can highly recommend the food.
Nice location overlooking the sea. The seating is outside, lovely in the sun. Wide selection of food, drinks and ice cream. The car park is free but only open when the cafe is. Normally shuts at 17:00.
Very efficient, friendly, and reasonably priced café. And what a view overlooking the park and sea! Love it!
Great place for a quick food/drink/loo stop (or longer if you have the time and weather permitting) - plenty of seating, friendly staff, good fayre on offer + homemade cakes and ice cream. Fab outdoor venue catering and suiting all including pets (dog treats/water on offer). Views excellent as is the walk to Pegwell Bay but you'll need to search for the entrance :-). Enjoy!

Seems to be new
owners food,drinks and service all good, great location but there was a down side.Plastic knife and fork, sauce in plastic sachets, tea and coffee in paper cups, hate it.
Please please don't use plastic use proper cutlery and bottles of sauce and china cups.
Popped in for a hot drink and ice creams, service was very good . Toilets were open to the public and parking is only available when cafe is open. We took a walk to the Viking ship to show my grandson. Out for a drive and we fancied a cup of tea at the Viking Ship Cafe but all closed up . Later we learnt it was under new ownership.
Let’s hope it is run has smoothly as previous lovely owners .

Great coffee and beautiful view! Really nice place to stop on your bike or out for a walk.
Lovely cup of coffee and a ice-cream for junior ;-)....best toilets for miles.
