The Moon & Sixpence - Clevedon - Photo album

Overlooking the estuary the pub is perfectly located. Spacious clean room cleaned and re-equipped (tea etc) daily. The bar is well stocked and efficiently run while the food is good and plentiful. Dog friendly, whereas other local bars were not, the staff worked hard to make us welcome.
Stayed here 26.09.23 originally for 1 night but was impressed with the service and breakfast decided to stay an additional night. The location is on the seafront and the rooms are quiet. The hosts were very friendly and nothing seemed 2 much problem. Will definitely stay again
Outstanding little pub with amazing staff. I went in just as the lunch rush was happening and they informed us of the long wait time and asked if we were still okay to order. It was only 30 - 45 minutes, so I was happy to wait. The food was a huge portion for a good value. It's a shame that you cann
Arrived in Clevedon about 1.30 and ended up parked on road outside. Had light lunch before going a walk. Pub was quiet due to poor weather. Friendly staff food very good and reasonably priced. Would recommend this one.
Fantastic Sunday roast. Great value and great amount of vegetables too. Potatoes were excellent and all meat and veggie options were fantastic. The gluten free options were fantastic too including the nut roast and also they had gluten free Yorkshire puddings and gravy too. Definitely recommend book
Called in with a friend in a wheel chair plus the dog. Staff greeted us at the door and were very polite and helpful. They offered to set up the wheel chair ramp. Good range of alcholic drinks and coffee and tea available, so great for designated drivers.
Honest tasty food! Recommended the Moussaka! The menu the same as on here but the prices haven’t been updated on the website it is a pound or so more! Ordered at 19:00 on a beautiful summers evening with about half the pub full with people wanting to eat straight away. Was kindly told that the wait
It was really nice but for just a small fish and chips it was fairly expensive with £12 for a tiny portion and a soft drink and a very long wait. It was really tasty, filling, lovely atmosphere and the long wait meant family can chat, play card games or decompress after their seaside visit.
Great traditional pub, clean, friendly helpful staff, good menu choices...we all had the Greek specials, well impressed. Will definitely eat there next time we're in the area.
Been here a few times. Service a little slow at times but always good food and a decent varied menu. Good spot overlooking the sea.
Called in for a late lunch on a long walk up the coast. Had outside seating but chose to sit inside by the front window which still had nice views out to the pier. Was advised that there was a 40 minute wait for food but we were glad of the rest! It was about 45 mins in the end but was all pretty
Beautifully situated by the pier looking over the Bristol Channel . As we had eaten earlier and didn't want a big meal they were kind enough to get us some amazing sandwiches to take away . Breakfast was lovely and plenty of it cooked by the landlord . We are now planning to return .
Didn't use overnight facilities. Had drinks + food. Delicious meals - Chicken shawarma skewers + lamb moussaka. Great location for pier and beach. Fab views over Bristol Channel from small upstairs balcony. Pub a little tired and in need of an upgrade but good service and great staff. Quite a lo
Not busy? The barman and the landlord say its an hour for food because there's only one chef. That's unacceptable at this time of year. (I later added:) You can see from the reply below that the landlord got very agitated at my review above - driven both by being hungry and only finding out about
