We DJ'd with photos last night for the Beaters end of season bash and I must say not only were all the customers a great bunch but all the staff were very helpful. I think I will go back as a customer and treat my wife to Lunch one day. DJ Stu and Mandy from Amanda Jayne Events featuring DJ Stu

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at the Hopton Crown last night (3.31.18) Although there is still work to be done on the interior of the restaurant, the new owner and management team are off to an awesome start. The food was fantastic; delicious & beautifully presented and the staff were super duper friendly! We have no doubt that huge success is in store for the future of the Hopton Crown! Great recommendation from my parents in law! Tim & Samantha, Nashville, Tennessee.

Good food, good service in a lovely old fashioned pub. Price was lower than expected too. All round very good.

The Hopton Crown is a real little gem. We had a beautifully decorated, warm and comfortable room with an enormous bathroom, which was immaculately clean. The pub has a great range of beers, wines and ciders and a good menu selection. Our food was absolutely delicious. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we only stayed one night! We will definitely be back.

Torn on this review. 6 stars for the food but 4 for the room. Room was large (room 3 in old part of house) tastefully decorated and had a large bathroom with shower over bath. The bed was a little firm for my taste and also very warm (despite no heating and windows wide open). Had fan on all night and wasn’t a warm night. Dinner was superb, one of the best pub meals I have had in the Uk. Seems a new chef started recently and it was very good and very good value. Mackerel with beetroot and horseradish was stupidly delicious, the mains were fabulous. The potatoes with the chicken nearly made me cry and the bream with chorizo and capers was soooo good. Lemon posset pudding was fab but for me too sweet, but no cheese option. Breakfast was very good quality with excellent sausage and bacon. No corner cutting with ingredients here. Lovely location between Shrewsbury and Kidderminster. Highly recommended.

We visited this pub as it subscribes to BritStops and we belong to that club. The Staff are very friendly and the food and beer are great. The pub is clean. We didn't stay overnight in the car park this time but it's definitely worthy of another visit. Many thanks.

Lovely quiet place to stay, felt very cosy. Nice room, could’ve done with a few more ‘furnishings’ as was a bit basic but was expected with the fair price of our room. We would stay again if in the area!

This is a beautiful place. We had a blowout close by and we went to the hotel for help. I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness. Nothing was to much for them. The hotel itself was a real oldy worldy type from the outside but with all the mod cons inside. The menu was superb and inside you feel like its home from home. Id definately recomend this hotel and we will definately be stopping off again but under better circumstances.

The owners are wonderful, and the site is taken excellent care of. Eco showers, toilets, and solar power used on the site, which is great to see. The location is beautiful. Highly recommend a visit.

Didn’t sleep here but came for a meal in the evening. Staff lovely, service efficient and food was lovely. Had the fish and chips, rib eye steak and veggie burger. All of it was delicious.

Had an overnight stay at this charming old coaching inn because of work. The room I had was lovely, clean and spacious (watch to low beams if you are tall though) Staff were polite and friendly and while the meal menu doesn't have the largest choice, the quality of the food was very good. I have given the location 5 stars but that is subjective on what you require. The Inn is out in the countryside in a small village but next to a road (it is a coaching inn after all) but I can honestly say I slept very well.

We stayed just one night and can't fault. All the staff were so friendly. The service was excellent. We had a meal on the evening and the breakfast was excellent. All the food we had was all cooked to perfection and well presented. Our room was really comfortable and the tea making facilities were plentiful. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were welcoming. All the rooms were full and that did not affect the service at all. I would highly recommend and would stay again.

Comfortable pub / restaurant / hotel near Cleobury Mortimer, frequented by locals. Good parking but can get busy at weekends and quoits nights. Five minute drive into town with good shops, pubs and petrol station. Breakfast is adequate and evening meals fine. Local ales.

Enjoyed our stay at the Hopton. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, and we also had a meal in the restaurant which we enjoyed. We would book the Hopton if we visit the area again.

We called in for lunch on a Bank Holiday after a nice morning walk...food choice was a little limited if you weren't in favour of gourmet burgers or a full main meal, so we opted for a starter to share, which we hasten to add, did enjoy.

Staff all very friendly, limited menu but it was delicious. Breakfast very good but little fruit at breakfast to add to yoghurt if that's how you like it.

Lively room, slow service for food but it was good quality. Breakfast was limited choice with no fruit or yoghurt and serving of hot food was small

Went for Sunday lunch, the online booking said no tables were available but we went anyway and there were only a couple of tables being used? The menu was limited only beef or ham for the roast. The food was of exceptional standard, the brie starter was lovely and the roast beef was lovely thick slices and cooked to perfection with proper fresh vegetables. My wife had the rissoto which she loved. Would recommend
