If you want decent food cooked to the absolute best tasteing food and looks good on a plate Zol Cox is your man his food is amazing and cooked to perfection. 5* is no where close to how good the food is and to boot the friendly atmosphere and welcome you receive off all staff at the Stable Tavern is amazing very. Absolutely the best Sunday Roast we have had out for years. Everything was just right. Great little find. Looking forward to trying your evening menu. My only gripe was the disgusting specimen in the bar area with a loud potty mouth who only seemed to know 1 word..beginning with F and ending in K.. not nice when your having lunch with your wife.
But as I said the food is top notch.

Twenty four of us hungry walkers descended on this pub for lunch, all pre-ordering something different. We were greeted with such friendliness and were soon seated and served with drinks. The fantastic! food was out very quickly and lovely and hot! Everyone of our group said their meal was delicious!
A fantastic place, the food is superb, the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. If you have food allergies or special requirements you can eat here in confidence. You will need to book, as it does not seat many and is always busy.
An amazing meal, the lamb was perfect, couldn't find fault if I tried. Service was wonderful very attentive and every body was very friendly. Highly recommended

Bloody Good Food, very good service, good selection of beers, nice and cosy with a good bar area to the side. Would definitely recommend and go again, Pork Belly was amazing.
Food is fantastic, and priced very reasonably. They also have some fantastic and well kept ales. A favourite for locals definitely.
