A truly wonderful place. The Lamp has a very relaxing atmosphere with an excellent menu. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. And, importantly, everywhere was lovely and clean. There are a couple of steps down into the restaurant.
My first experience here, warm, welcoming staff, clean and the food OMG was great. Cooked perfectly to my taste. I will definitely be returning.
I can highly recommend the Lamb Biryani with the dhansak sauce.
The Mixed Kebab is lovely.
Chicken Mashur is also a favourite( has mango in it.)

We had a delivery to a holiday cottage which was very remote, i poped into the restaurant to see if they would deliver to us and they were very helpful,so we had a delivery and what a fantastic meal,there was 5 of us and not a scrap of food left. amazing
Superb restaurant! The service and the food left us wanting to return. As a group of 8 (4 adults, 4 chn) we sampled a variety of dishes from the menu and were not disappointed. Saj was very attentive and made us feel very welcome.
Looking for a place to eat on a Sunday evening found the Lamp. Warm welcome lovely food great decor and service. This is one eatery you must visit. Wonderful.
